Hoping to go early this year, I'm unsure what camera gear to take. I currently have a nikon d750 but no long lenses. I'd be visiting Mexico first. I don't really like the cumbersome annoyance of taking a slr with a long lens because of weight, fear of it getting broken or stolen.
@@tropicalbirding8047 Thing is, I'm a wedding photographer, so I need a decent slr with a couple of decent lens for work. I was going to take my d750 and buy a telephoto zoom, something like a nikon 80-400mm. I've sort of looked at Olympus but it's a bit overwhelming to be honest as I don't know which system would be best suited.
That bird almost resembles the American turkey but it’s more colorful
It's an Ocellated Turkey, so you are pretty spot on

Jason, what about upgrading to the Olympus mirrorless system. Far more portable, and excellent for rainforest bird photography?
