- Captain Mike takes two greenhorns out on the water on a cold day in January. The water is frigid, the conditions are treacherous, one slip up and the greenhorns crabbing career could be lost. Was it a success? Did they haul in enough crab to make the trip a success? Did they live to crab another day? Watch and find out.

if you go during tuna season, you can pick up a few tuna heads out of those two dumpsters by the wash station, the dungeness love that shit.
Good video. I just subscribed to your channel
You can get a charter to take you out for under $100 or rent a boat to go out yourself. There is also an option to go off a public dock for just the cost of supplies.
@thevoicenwwa in newport OR 25 dollars for ring or pot 7 dollars licences ,7 dollars for bait or free bait if you dount mind dumpsterdiving and fuel to get to dock behind rogue brewery its a long pier but throw your gear off near the end throw it off the side that makes sense so that tide doesent tangle your gear in pilings
Crabs will die quickly sittin in that water
what is the size for keepers in Oregon? In British Columbia its 6.5. inches...lots of places around Victoria and Vancouver and oher towns you dont need a boat to catch crabs ,, just use cheap chicken parts,
5 n 3/4"
You see the change of music made a difference, that deadliest catch song is just over used on these crab vids. Way to go to the capt. to put you guys on the keepers after ya got skunked that first pull!!
