My *JVC GY-HM200U's* _LCD monitor screen_ *can and does* physically rotate 180 degrees for viewing/monitoring from *in front of the camcorder* , like _selfie style,_ yet by turning mine that way and looking at it from in front of camera, guess what, the LCD Monitor VIEW is *UPSIDE DOWN* . Yea, that's correct, it *_doesn't_** auto-rotate* , flipping/swapping vertical up/down, into a correct _upright_ orientation. When viewed from _behind_ the camera it's fine, right side UP - but when viewing from _in front of_ the camera (requiring vertically flipping the screen up-sideDOWN), the view _then_ is also _up-side-DOWN_ , and it just stays like that. It simply *refuses* to be seen right-side-up when flipped selfie style. _Listen to this_ ::: I have even turned the entire camcorder upside down, so you would think then that the inverted orientation would cancel itself out that way and accordingly the view would then appear as right side up, right ? *_WRONG_* ...... it still has an upside down view. So that means it can and does vertically flip auto-rotate, but for some reason unknown to me it only exclusively does it in only in that situation I just described, which is worthless. I have searched & searched for a setting option or some kind of fix for this, to no avail. *Is this is a known issue, or just a flaw of my unit ? ?* I find that hard to believe. That's not rocket science technology firmware patch. I have the latest firmware - direct from JVC's firmware update page :: " Current Version: V0313-0230, Release Date: 2018-03-09 No upgrades are available. You have the latest version of the software. " If anyone knows a fix to this please for god's sake share it with your fellow users in a *_REPLY_* , _thanks in advance !!_
