The end of an era. And as the final show exploded over Epcot on September 30th 2019 and my wife and I danced to Kellie Coffey's "Promise" one last time, we and everyone around us will remember the magic of "IllumiNations - Reflection of Earth" forever. Thank you Disney for the most touching, uplifting, poignant and amazing show that, every time I saw it, restored my faith in humanity. Only your best artists and imagineers could have brought this to life the way you did. May IllumiNations live on in the hearts and minds of all who saw it - so that we may continue to strive toward making the Earth a better place to live.
Kevin Goeppner I haven't been in so long, and I used to go four times a year! I get free vacation DVDs as often as I can just to curb the depression of not being home.
A trip to Disney World is not complete without watching this show. And 'We Go On' is such a beautiful song. Thank you for filming post-fireworks as well.
I saw this the same night my foster workers got married, and I just...wow...to hear Jim Cummings all around the lake, the "lights" blowing out, and when the boat carrying the flamethrower came to the lake, I actually felt the heat despite being far away!
They really convey the "chaos, order, then meaning" message so well through the pyrotechnics and lighting! It's more and more amazing each time I see it!
I worked in EPCOT for a year for my CP, and nearly every night I would do crowd control for this show. It's been five years since I've last seen the show, and I can still anticipate every firework launching.
It's been 13 years for me since I was CP at HISTA and I still remember Jim Cummings words in the intro (and every firework cue and color). I worked on New Year's 2002 and can't be thankful enough to my coworkers, who knowing I wanted to see the New Year firework show ran the theater while I did the exit just so I could see it.
it's really great; we live in Orlando and go there often; no matter how many times we've seen the (same) fireworks, still being touched and feel the power.
Every time I hear this music and I will do sign language for this song and I have a Talent to do this song and I have learned a lot from the deaf people and I know sign language forever in my life ok?
I bought the soundtrack for this show the same year it premiered and let me tell you, it was one of the best CD purchases I ever made. It includes We Go On, Promise, and the music from the Tapestry parade.
I love love love love looooooove Illuminations! I'm just waiting for the day that they make an extra large globe. I've always thought it was a little small given the size of the show as a whole. Thoughts?
This is one of the most true-to-life firework video I’ve seen apart from professional recordings. I’d really like to know how and with what this was recorded?
I saw this 3 weeks ago. It was good. Half an hour after it was over, something exploded. I wanted to see what happened, but some of the crew told me not to worry about it and please leave the park calm. I knew something blew up, but what was it?
Often times if the cpu fails to launch a firework out of its pod or it just doesn't go off for some reason, they still have to blow them off after the show. They don't typical reuse fireworks from old shows. (source-I used to work there)
***** What this guy said, I've seen it before. It's really loud and a waaaaaay bigger fireball then during the normal show. It's really cool to see. Just be careful, your arm hair can easily get singed off

this was, is, and always will be, my number one favorite fireworks show in all of the walt disney world parks.
Me too and I was just there last week. Having that "back home from DisneyWorld depression."

Amazing show. Never will have enough of the show. Watch it every time I go.
I hope this show never goes away. Such a beautiful, beautiful show. I physically can't watch this without tearing up.
So sad it’s gone

p
+cyanmanta I wonder why they put We Go On as it's own track as opposed to including it on the ROE track?
Thank you so much for including Promise
I love that the narrator is Jim Cummings, voice of Winne the Pooh and many many other Disney characters. He's my favorite voice actor.

What was the song being played at 10:14?
We go on
I'm wondering what camera you used to film this with?
Hey, does anyone know the name of the song at the end of the fireworks? I would love to be able to get that in my library.
