It looks like it’s a finesse position in diamonds that arises for 13 on the 3nt board because A9 is in dummy in the 4 card ending when west’s stiff Q pops can finesse the 9 of ds after finessing the heart to hand .
Next week we will fix this issue and the behavior will match the style of the Ranked Games where the robot does the same if everything else before was the same at the other table.
I dont think youre supposed to make the extra trick anyway. I am confident my play of low to the queen of clubs at trick 2 is optimal. I may be able to avoid the spade finesse all together. Stripping out the hand first doesnt add so much value. You only pick up Kx offside in the process.
Sorry I misready your reply. They played a spade at trick 2, exposing the spade king. Now I would just draw trumps. Again I wouldnt strip out the hand because the spots dont help me. You are best off just taking two finesses, first towards the queen, then towards the jack.
Thanks for doing these bridge-guru Gavin.
Thanks Gavin. I got 1 win, 3 draws and a loss because on board 4 I preempted with 1H 3H and went down :/

B1. For some reason my Lia opponent (and I chose Gavin's Lia) led a Spade second trick and let me strip the hand.

@@wolpertbridge When I put E in with the HQ after stripping the hand, E had to lead a C establishing my Q or give me a ruff discard.
@frankmorgan826 yes of course, with hearts 2-2 that works. That makes it better.
