You probably won't see this Alfie, but I want to thank you for supporting your local hospice. My mum passed away in a hospice 5 years ago when I was 9 and the care they gave her in her last days were incredible. In the past 5 years, the support they've given my family had been such a comfort and I will never stop supporting them back. Hospices deserve so much more awareness because they are truly amazing places. Thank you Alfie

Yo, Alfie. Idea. You should create a small line of PB merch where 100% of the profits go to the hospice house you visited. It would be a good way for people who watch your vlogs from another country or wherever to feel like we can get involved.
The merch wouldn't have to overtly say anything about the hospice, could still be cool and fashionable, but it would be a nice reminder any time we wear it that we can change the world and make ourselves and others feel more positive if we spend time learning about charities and helpful spaces in our own communities and in others'.

When my father was losing the battle to lung cancer we did home hospice. They gave us a goody bag and called us many times after my father passed away to make sure we were okay. Sadly my father was already to sick to experience the great work hospice does. So he was sedated until he lost the battle. RIP DADDY (gone but never forgotten)

i love that you work with a hospise!
My godmother have been worinking at one for as long as i lived (Am now 25) and i can remember when i was a small kid and she brought me and my sister there every christmas. We, along with a bunch of a lot of other kids, sang songs and got the tree decorated! And i can remember till this day an old woman crying of joy when she saw all the kids running around playing, singing christmas songs.. Didnt know why then, cuz i where like only 6 years old, but today am so happy that i got to make that womans last christmas special. And when my grandfather got cancer and got to go and stay at the same hospise then i was happy cuz i knew that they would take good care of him

So happy you're raising awareness of your local Hospice. I'm a student nurse and spent a small time at my local hospice. Everyone including the patients and staff were incredibly positive and inspiring. The staff and volunteers put 110% into their job, and go out of their way to put a smile on the patients face. The experience quite literally changed my outlook on life. I'd recommend any teen to enquire to volunteer at their local hospice.

Okay so I'm gonna try and keep this short and sweet but a charity that brings a horse to the grounds makes me so happy. I have a horse and I thought about leaving my little pony, my mollie and not being able to see her every day made my heart break. When Alfie told that I literally cried tears of happiness it made me so inspired to make a difference in the world and I love that someone would do that. It made me believe that there's good in the world. ❤❤

I really can't understand why people would dislike a video like this. If you don't want to watch it just don't. This video really shows how kindhearted Alfie is as he tells us about what an amazing place The Martlets Hospice is and what incredible things they do. I think it' sounds like a really lovely place who really look after the people there and the fact Alfie visited and took time to talk about real things and it's really influential to see him having such a positive outlook on life. This video is so true and real and reminds us that we should be positive and think about what amazing things we can do and not what we can't do :) x

Last year my grandma went to a hospice because she had cancer and she couldn't take care of herself anymore and my mom and my aunts couldn't as well, she needed 24/7 care. And I can't even explain how amazing that place was, the people who volunteerd there were sooooo lovely. When it was my grandma's birthday we asked if we could have the open room for a diner with grandma and her grandchilderen but instead of the open room they said no we have this private room so you can do it there, this was amazing and so nice of them. Hospice aren't always bad or stupid, yeah off course it's not nice that people die there but the people who work there are amazing

Yo, Alfie.

I just got into 10 minutes into this and started to cry sadly I said are final goodbyes to my grandad, who sadly passed away last month on the 12th April. He spent his last week in the hospice, I spent every day that I could to be by his side and can totally agree that a hospices are such a nice place. There's loads of life there all the volunteers there were lovely. The place the hospice was located was out in the sticks which had loads of fields and and beautiful gardens I can say that my grandad died just as happy as his life was thanks to a hospice.

Here in the U.S.A., Hospice for our family was amazing. Both my father and mother in law died with dignity, and in the comfort of their own homes.
Hospice volunteers are angels and become like family.

When u were talking about the hospice it brought back a lot of memories, my auntie had cancer and had to go in a hospice close to where she lived in shewsberry (not sure if spelt right) , I loved her so much , I would visit her everyday after school but one day I couldn't go because she was really not well and then that night she passed away , it was hard to let go but I always know that she's looking down. The hospice were so good to her they even let her dog vanilla in her room , she was only in her 50s when she passed away. The hospice would make her happy when she was sad and made her feel better when she had a pain somewhere. My family praised the hospice for looking after her. We have raised money for cancer and my dad did a boxing match to raise money. It was a hard time but we got through it even though we may miss her loads ❤️
