Ashton's screams are hilarious.
I wish you could replace the tire squealing sound with his screams.
People screaming in iRacing on ovals is just hilarious... If they survive xD
BOOGIE!!!!!!
I just noticed that the guy screaming at 8:32 is the one on the yellow car, and not the one spinning
'This is my strong arm' - phub music plays. LOL @6:25
Timestamp?

Thank me later
Boogie Speed is actually just every NASCAR driver meshed into one supreme being
With a name like boogie speed what else could you expect 🤣
He is a rare breed of “sim squeaker ”. A child who acts more mature than most of the others on the server. I’ve only met one in FSX.
@@jacobrzeszewski6527 idk man most kids i meet on sims are really into it. not like theyre gonna get many chances to race cars anywhere like that except maybe the local karting track at that age.
@@GenuineRage when I said most of the others, I meant all the adults on the server. The kid kinda embarrassed me because I didn’t know how to properly taxi on FSX and he kindly pointed me to a UA-cam tutorial. God tier.
I like this style of editing the more meme oriented style fits well with Jimmy, keep it up editor-chan
Absolutely this
I prefer how it was before honestly
Nah, a bit too self aware for me. I guess I’ll catch the livestreams and leave the abridged version for the edgelords.
7:33 I didn't like the editing here :( I didn't like the slow motion because that's less exciting to me and worse, the view being blocked by another overlaid shot. Perhaps just have us watch each shot separately one after the other. I want to see both of those shots because they look like they'd both be great and exciting on their own. On second viewing, the overlaid and slow motion have their merits so I'm not sure. Everything else was great and I enjoyed the video tons. Loved the screaming too xD
@@PjotrStroganov I was going to watch the full stream instead of this, but it was made private.
“it’s Not A Game It’s A Sim” 😂😂😂 Omfgggggg
Iracing fanboys in a nutshell

Boogie Speed is the perfect name for a guy racing stock cars around a bullring
He left out my favorite part of the stream “the best deep dish pizza is not pizza it’s a casserole “
I see Jimmy has had Chicago style deepdish (Gio's)
@@nightkil13r A fellow Chicagoan? I live a few blocks from a Giordano's.
@@shayamaddex996 nah, live a couple hours away, it's a tradition stop whenever we're in town for a game.
I wish dirt oval was more popular on iRacing. It's so fun and the dynamic changes in the track really make for an awesome race it's not about who the fastest driver is but who is the best at adapting to the changing environment.
Irl dirt racing is fucking awesome I would totally recommend going to a race if possible
@@hi_c.v7289 I used to race 360 sprints, it was by far the favorite racing I've done. Chucking a 900lbs car with 900hp into a sharp turn at 160mph and just hoping it sticks is the best feeling ever.
@@TheCloudCreation how much did it cost for a motor? I’ve talked to a couple people who run late models they say they can cost upwards of $80k
the problem is most people who play iRacing just see it as "hurr durr its an oval, you only turn left."
@@hi_c.v7289 It only cost about $5000 for the motor because I built it all in house. I would just got a 358 block, order the parts I needed and milled out the rest. Building a motor is not for everyone, but back when I did it 6 or so years ago, most of the field would make about 800hp whereas I would get almost 900hp because I was able to push my compression ratio up to 16:1 by carefully shimming the pistol walls and using a special face head of the pistol that disturbed the fuel in a more efficient way than typical flat faced heads do. The real difficult part for me and why I had to stop was the time sync required after every race because I'd have to strip the motor down after almost every race and re tune the motor to keep it operating at 100% because such high power output in a small block chevy is difficult to maintain the tolerances have to be so tight.
Was not expecting GT5 Jeff Gordon to appear in a video in 2021 but here we are
Yeah, the sr system applied to dirt oval is a little flawed. Dirt oval classes do fewer laps than paved oval, and racing on dirt, contact is generally a given. It is especially an issue when someone spins in front of you mid corner. You often can't see them spin, and even if you do see them spin, taking evasive action is much harder than on paved oval or road.
The dirt oval contact is definitely buffed though. You can make pretty good contact with others and walls and it be a 0x when on pavement that would have been a 2x or 4x
@@codyjarvis True, depending on the car. Late Models, UMP Mods, and the new Big Block Mods you can make decent contact. The Sprint Cars and Midgets not as much.
I would say that if you have or develop an eye for it, you can see a spin (or heavy oversteer/ sudden rotation) going into a corner that would then happen in the middle or exit of a corner.
A very fine art it is.
Three people instantly saying they'll get better with time is the spirit we all could use more of ... that was actually a really wholesome rookies race ... wth
8:12 is the coldest iRacing screencap of all time
We stan the new editor
I like Octavio! He was bummed about being "bad at the game" but was the first one to say good race to everyone :).
7:36 could not have been more perfect
Im 1:31 in to watching this, and i already dig this editors style, and think they fit well together, looking forward to what they can achieve together.
8:12 Jimmer races on a different level
Ascension.jpg
*Flightlevel xD
Limaland is my home track at UNOH, that's so cool to see Jimmer racing on it!
Thank you again Jimmy, happy new year! .. and thank you to my new subscribers showing support from the jimmer community, best in the world! 🥳
Thank you, happy new year & good luck in your quest, ps your Mrs is hot lol
@@humanityrestored1993 lol thanks, we do our best.. dont forget to support jimmer too 🥳 happy new year x
We may not have the bit where Jimmy totally bottles my nickname but it will always live in our memories as a special cursed moment.
Great way to start 2021! Thanks for a good time, Jimmy!
Awesome to see you giving the dirt racing a go. You figured it out well from the race you showed. Its all about finding that line that's fastest for you as the track changes. I'd definitely recommend checking out some World of Outlaws Sprintcar and Late Model video footage and see how they race.
these videos have been so good! keep it up jimmer
the sound track to ridge racer 4 is genuinely my driving music
Thanks for this video, I don't have time to watch the entire stream so this is a nice way to still watch some highlights
I love these types of videos. Just from the last one I've been constantly getting my safety rating up
I've stopped watching this channel because somebody told me Jimmer is an influenza
I got vaccinated so he can't influence me😎
Always have loved dirt tracks, and always wanted to see you run 410 sprints. Great video
i need to see jimmy drive those sprint cars... and a cup car on a mile 1/2
He drove winged sprint cars during the stream it just wasn't shown in the video. I really want to see him do midgets and super modifieds.
he ran the 1986 cup cars at charlotte a few months ago
Hearing Jimmy scream "IT'S THE BIG ONE" made me laugh so much
Wow it was legitimately just so nice to see those other guys in the race being nice to that kid who said he was bad. Glad I switched to sim racing from League of Legends lmao.
Not aways getting to watch the streams so I appreciate these highlights, Also enjoying the editing style.
Dude looks like you’re having fun and doing work. Good job with the content man 🤙
"Stay high." *KROENCH* "Not that high."
You do know that nascar is like hockey. You can pretty much do anything that you would do in a no damage race, including pit maneuvering other drivers. Thats considered a racing incident
Yes, but you cant turn people and expect them not to turn you. It's a self-policing problem.
@@backcheck4644 thats why its fun to watch
eh there are limits, they are just much more laxed than in other series
There’s still “racing etiquette” it’s just pretty much don’t wreck someone on purpose. If you do expect them to get you back. You can still get penalized if it’s too egregious or dangerous
thats honestly one of the reasons i stopped watching nascar so many years ago. the fact that you can get away with shit like that makes it feel so much less like actual racing/
I've been playing Ridge Racer Type 4 and I was very happy when you mentioned it with the song 'On Your Way'
Nice video, this new direction is interesting
That Thomas the train car really had it out for you 😂😂
Dirt Oval racing is some of the most fun on iRacing. The new Big Block Modifieds are amazing
7:38 This is where DLBTV would be saying "I'm gonna hafta Days of Thunder it here!!!!"
My head is still crushed in from the sprint car.... I also love the editing
The moment you get into a dirt oval lobby with people that know how to drive, it greats really intense. Probably my most intense races involve the 410 Sprint on any oval, but especially the bullring quarter milers get really intense as any part of the track is fair game on running it.
Ill admit, I do miss the rookies and trying to get out of it. It was madness and after the rage, quite fun!
7:34 : "And if you no longer go for a gap that exists, you're no longer a racing driver"
WE NEED MORE DIRT RACES FROM JIMMER!!!!! THAT WAS AWESOME MY DUDE
The edits to die for
4:50 the "um excuse me" followed by the laggy voice killed me
@4:20 Although I'm not an oval fan, growing up watching NASCAR with my dad taught me that the outside is faster in oval racing because you can carry more speed and things like apex's are less important. I guess the idea is that the amount you'd have to slow down to turn left on the inside of the bank outweighs the distance you save.
edit: I wanna add you can hear the co-driver telling Jimmy to "clear high" and stay "outside" throughout the whole video. I think that's a hint.
Love the stream highlights
I want to say one things
KIMI FOR PRESIDENT
I would SO vote for kimi in a election
Because he knows what hes doing
Yes
That’s one thing I can agree on
AGREED
Loved this and would love to see more! Let's get a dirt series going? I want to watch you learn how to throw it around! Stand on the gas in those slides and just send ittttttt
Finally a video I can watch in under half an hour
i love dirt oval. you got to try knoxville with the dirt SS its a blast
as someone who races speedway in real life, the realisation @8:15 about the leaf springs is actually true, to a point. They only use one leaf spring, so it does almost nothing, however if does do the secondary job of leaf springs in keeping the rear axle centered without the use of a panhard rod and whatnot. They still use shocks and coil springs, since the leaf spring's only use it to keep the rear solid axle in position.
This was so fun to watch
that fucking edit was HILARIOUS! HAHAHAHA nice one Mr. Editor!
One of your best videos m8
iRacing's dirt can be some of the best racing on the service, imo. You did pretty well at it too, keep it up Jimmer.
Do a 50 lap dirt race without using any tear offs.
4:56 This is a classy detail my friend
When running on dirt track ride the top grove but not too high, it’ll be a smoother line and be able to keep your momentum
First time seeing Jimmy race dirt I just subscribed and like just because of dirt racing :D lol
I'm really glad to see you doing some oval content
Dale yea baby! Rubbin' IS racing 🏁
Hands down the best racing channel
That guy in the Thomas vinyl drifted that one corner like a pro
Loving the redbull in the mug
That guy's drift at the start was pretty clean.
Jimmy! If you want more dirt, i highly recommend checking out the Chili Bowl in the midget. The real life event is coming up this month, its fantastic
That dirt track that says unoh is in my home town. I’ve raced there in real life in sprint cars
The jeff Gordon cut "technology" lmfao
God the Ridge Racer music makes this video so much better
jimmy just a small heads up about usa international, you can run the outside line in the corners and keep up man. from my experience it kinda saves the tires a bit too.
I've seen it live but edits are 10/10 i'm seeing it again
Love these.
I think your oval content is honestly my favorite haha. So fun
USA International Speedway is about an hour away from me! Closed now but still cool seeing u race “close” to me😂💀
Props to the editor
The dirt track you raced at was UNOH and thats the school ill be going to this upcoming year
This production quality is insane compared to the content of yours from 2-3 years ago. I love it keep it up!
0:30, I was hoping he was racing the busses
Jimmer. Just a couple quick tips.
1. In the Street Stock. ALWAYS start in third.
2. In the Dirt Street Stock. Try not to saw the wheel too much. That's more of a general racing tip. It's kind of obvious that smoother will always be faster. If the car feels tight, blip the brake in the corner to get the rear end to rotate more.
9:18 comment cameo
Was a great stream
That dirt track is in my home town. It's owned by a college. They have a motorsports team. The students work on the cars for credit.
2:22
No one is going to talk about that sick drift?
No?
Ok then
god this is good content, this shit gives me serotonin
Editing is Mint
the dirt oval looks hella fun, wish more sims had it
ARCA series cars are the best. Love them and got a ranked win at that USA speedway.
I got used to NASCAR style racing now and enjoy it especially the NASCAR truck series and ARCA cars. Atlanta is a good oval.
Love this series
Very disappointed you cut out the arguments about pizza and what US gas station chain has the best food. Unsubbed.
You asking how do I go quick on a dirt track & someone responds “Avoid the dirt” 🤣
Jimmy's first slide job
Jimmer on short tracks. Now this is C O N T E N T !
"LEAF SPRINGS?!?!" -🤣😂🤣😅
Good job Editor-chan
We need a meme comp of this channel
Change my mind
Some advice, Jimmy, for the next time you run on dirt. If the dirt looks a little rough and doesn't have a sheen, it has a lot of moisture, which means it has grip. If the dirt has a sheen, there is less moisture there, and has therefore "slicked off", which means there isn't any grip there. Typically, you'll find the most grip in two places on a dirt track; up top on the cushion, and down low, near the tractor tires or inside wall, depending on layout. Where you choose to run as the track slicks off is entirely dependent on your skill and intestinal fortitude, as running the top an a track like Knoxville could mean brushing against the outside wall.
Also, "Pushing the cush", or running the top, is quite a gamble in and of itself, as one mistake can send you into the wall at race speed. As anyone who has raced would know, this does nothing to help the performance of the car. If you don't feel comfortable with the idea of flirting with disaster, I suggest that you run the bottom as much as possible, as you'll still be able to be fast, while also get a chance to learn how the car handles in comparison to tarmac.
Anyway, keep up the good work, mate, and don't be afraid to run dirt again.
I want to see Jimmy in the Carb Cup more!
