- The Doble Steam Car Was Canceled because
it held a secret, some didn't want getting out.
They could run for free.
Tips are welcomed and needed, thanks...

Thank you for this post.
First law of thermodynamics would like to have a word with you
The Doble in jay Leno's collection has over 800000 miles . Sounds good to me
@@michaelkupchik3974Jay's Dobles haven't run in 6 years... they are undergoing their second major rebuild since he as owned them.... the are the most expensive cars in the world to build and maintain... they are also the most unreliable.
First (Lie) of Thermo
already had a word with you. How much they paying you to run around UA-cam trying to squash the truth?
2 million BTU at full clip burning BTU dense gasoline. That's what Leno claims the Doble requires. What kind of genset is going to provide the 2M BTU? Plus he claims in practical operation, the water range is closer to 300 miles in favorable ambient temperature conditions. 15MPG on the fuel. Plus it requires frequent descaling protocol.
The Doble burned 2 million btu of gasoline but only produced 150 hp.
EPA tests showed 6.5 mpg on the standard LA drive cycle test on kerosene in 1970.
And the worst emissions of any vehicle tested on the new 1972 vehicle emissions standards.
Not impressive
@@sandervanderkammen9230 it could do 0-75mph in 5 seconds and howard hughes got his up to 133mph in 1925
So there is also that
@@dylanmccallister1888 Only in a single burst of full throttle completely exhausting the steam pressure, after which you coast to a stop allow the pressure to build back up to normal.
It cannot maintain pressure above 75mph
Driving up a long grade it would struggle to maintain 25mph.
Not very impressive for the _Most expensive car in the world_ at the time.
As if a Hollyweird Propaganda/Distraction Agent is gonna tell you the truth?
Dylan now you know this biotech is full of chit. She tried to make it sound like there is a boiler full of steam pressure, when in fact every injection into the ‘flash steam’ chamber, was the “burst” and of course the pressure was exhausted, then the next burst happens, with its own pressure, and again, and again, and again.
…all for the cost of, …water.
Technically you can use anything that burns to heat the water. Im sure it could have used cheaper fuels. But hooking up an alternator to heat the water electrically will do nothing.
Why would anyone use electricity to heat water in a steam car in the first place...
@sandervanderkammen9230 I agree. But it's not dumb we use it in a lot of kitchen appliances like stoves, kettles and automatic coffee makers. We use electricity to heat water all the time.
@@brassassmonkey You don't see the colossal flaw in that concept?
Sandra Vandork,…
no, Brassmonkey does not see the colossal nose on your face, because this is cyber vile. Anyone who watches the whole video will understand why you disinfo agents come in here to comment your BS for the power companies.
Some of the comments here seem to be designed to discourage the reader from even watching the video and those comments are not very honest. Apparently they don’t know what “flash steam”means.
It means you do not heat a whole tank, just a small little place where the water is injected into it.
It was the perfect car. Speed, torque, almost maintenance free...and 100% ecological combustion.
and silent. Combined with today's technology it would be even better.
Everything you think you know about this car is completely wrong.
Steam cars are obsolete technology, dirty and inefficient. They produce more pollution than internal combustion engines and are the most expensive cars in the world hto build and maintain.
This is exactly why they are completely extinct.
Sandra is an oil company spy
So fucking adds are playing during my video, (for which I'm not getting paid and don't have enough subscribers to even get adds) AND then when you skip the adds, my vid starts in the middle???
That’s kweepy
yoo toob 4U
and if you use a car with a Stirling engine, warm it up with an induction heater, use a lithium-ion or lead-acid battery ua-cam.com/video/KbnGlcQiL1c/v-deo.htmlsi=c3C2xldQRqD1FlzW
Or check this out,
Use a Perkins Friction Heater, to heat the Sterling ( make the piston wide, like the coffee cup Sterling or the Ericsson Rider Cargo Ship (operates on much less heat difference) and the friction heater can be spun with a small BBQ roticary motor, that’ll get you over you nut tea.
Wow, ewwwtube shaddow banned me.
Punish them when you can, people.
Do you live in a cave???
Carnot published his formula in 1824!
Actually Wilhelm, a cave is more efficient to heat and cool, than a house is, also protects you from satellite radiation and cell towers, (and) he gets more chicks than you.
lmfao
You walked by the mirror again didn’t you?
