Lance williams wrote a good book called; "king David and Boss Daley, which detailed a lot of what's discussed in this interview. Its just good to see some originals still around who can tell their story.
I love Professor Lance's book. It's a must-read for anyone looking to dig deeper into Chicago Street history.

The true meaning of a gangsta is: a member of a gang of criminals, especially a racketeer in an organized crime syndicate. Synonyms: goon, hood, thug, crook, hoodlum, mobster. We should change that to Original Greatness!

OG does not always apply to gangstas! We have OGs, who were scientists, doctors, lawyers (Johnnie Cochran), shipbuilders, blacksmiths, shoe makers, etc. This gangsta stuff is old, and it's time to interview some OGs who were not gangstas, but inventors and innovators!
We interviewed Minister Ricco, Jimmie Lee, and Benny Lee from the Vice Lords. Let me stress, that the purpose of the show is to document history, not promote violence. If you know any founders of organizations, please feel free to log in the comments.
