I used a toro lawn mower back in the late sixties with good results, but since June of 2013, I have cut my large yard with a Scag Cheetah 61" 29 Kawasaki (great results all around).
We used e-mark and a john dere mower, both were pretty equal in cut. The ex-mark wore out blade bearings faster. All those gopher mounds bring back memories! Stay safe.
I have never owned a Toro mower. This review, other than the camera problem, leads me towards Toro. Now, if I had a yard big enough for this beauty, I would definitely get the Toro 😁
I really like this mower!! What makes it even with the Skag? If it’s more comfortable, wouldn’t it be better? A side by side comparison could be cool. Thanks for all the content diversity 🤙🏻
When software went to a monthly subscription type thing, that’s when I stopped using them. Not sure about GoPro but so many updates have screwed up how things worked before. The latest apple update has done this, I’m so tired of technology now.
I think you should keep the Toro, seems like a great mower……so to help you out, I’ll take the Scag off you hands….here’s the good part, I’ll do it for free. Love the videos
GoPro 9 worked good👌...but made me nervous around the trees...wanted to shout duck left or right😱... I've had good luck with toro products...walk behind mulcher 25yrs...now all my mowing done with '87 MF 240 & 5' bushhog...have a great day👍
Regarding GOPRO, I stopped with with HERO 7 Black. I had a 6 that failed and they wouldn't warranty it. I'm not sure I'd purchase another one. My use is mainly for snorkeling videos.
I'm contemplating returning my gopro because of the overheating issue. I've used the cheaper SJCAMs for a few years without issues. The audio really sucks on them so I wanted to try the GoPro HERO10.
We have 5 acres. Best investment we made for our grass was a drag. Every time it rains we drag the pasture and after about 4 passes our pasture went from super bumpy to pretty smooth now!
If you had to replace or have work done on your 5th wheel axles in TX who would you use for the work? We will be in TX in early Feb 2022 and need axle work but have no Idea who to consider using. Really appreciate your informative channel. Thank you.
I'm not sure if you slowed the engine down before you shut it off might of missed it but it's a good practice to idle the engine as it's not hard on the internal parts!!
JD your right about this mower's speed if you are actually running it. My Deere would eat that thing alive on speed. lol ... And then I seen you open it up driving it across the concrete driveway. You were not running at higher speeds while cutting the grass. Like to see how well it does at higher speeds while cutting the grass.
The video is a big deceiving because the camera was stabilizing the shot. Look at the suspension platform moving and you can see how bumpy it was. Wouldn't have been smart to hit the bumps at full speed.
Some helpful feedback. Watching you mow with a view out front of the mower doesn’t really add value. There is nothing at all to learn from this. Suggest you do a detailed walk around and point out all the features. Those of us spending over $10k want to know everything down to the model hydros used etc. Cheers!
The Smile Meter on this Toro is on a Uptick and still moving into the Upper Phenomenal Range. It’s apparent that the comforts of the Operator is Paramount to surviving a long day in the seat cutting acres of land.
Toro has always built a quality product. I've always had Toro push mowers and they've always been great!
Now you're talking my language. Always a fan of Toro products. Price vs quality. Top-notch.
Toro is a good name so it isn’t surprising that it works well, the key is “time” how it performs over years!
JD there's a trailer you need for your place. You're missing a livestock trailer so you can add critters.🤭

The ride looked way comfortable. looking forward to more of the review of this Toro Z turn. Thanks JD
Thanks my friend

Lol. I think I am keeping both.. never hurts to have a backup (from personal experience)....or if I run out of fuel.
Toro would like ya review that mower and toro may request in time that you return the mower to dealer.

The grass was pretty short to give a good evaluation on the toro it isn’t as long as when you cut it with the scag all over a seat

The stabilization on GoPro is second to none. That's the only real value they provide me.

Toro vs Skag drag race! DO IT! 😂
Wouldn't even be a race. The Scag is significantly faster

Thank you.
I would go to a commercial truck shop that works on 18 wheeler trailers.
@@BTBRVReviews Thank you. That makes a lot of sense. Do you have one you would recommend?
Big boy toys👌
Toro is a good company to work with.
There is something to be said about mass production brands like Toro. Clearly Toro has money for research and development.
That is very clear

Man, I want that seat in my car!
Did you compare the toro when you were originally searching for a mower
I did, but the dealers near me had nothing available to see in person.

@@BTBRVReviews -- Gotcha!
The bad boy zero turn is pretty nice too.

Havin the go pro mounted on the ROP or somewhere stable with a more stable view would have been way easier to watch.

It's really awesome. Not as much when hitting big holes
Did you buy the wrong mower?
Only time will tell
I've never been impressed with go pros always glitchy in all my use of them
Nothing like staring at your boots.
Have you thought about getting a Battery Riding lowing mower
Nope... California residents and businesses might have to though
Lol 😂 you’re comparing a Toro to a Scag!
Toro didn't break down the first mow...😂
That's true... Regardless though, Toro has Mowers that are far higher in price and features than Scag. My father's Toro was $40k
Is it time to trade in the Skagg?
Naa
JD, you's makin' me dizzy.
I enjoy your content overall, including the diversity, but your FPV shooting style doesn’t work great for this type of video.
Yeah, I'm working on that :)
