Because they're not animated on a repeated running movement to save animation, they have various hands and camera angles to make it feel more real, but we're so used of the usual technique that it feels weird.
Very interesting choice of writing. You'd think Haruki would try to be overprotective of their sister's body but bro just keeps being reckless and gets themselves into dangerous situations.
Spoiler Tag And so ends the suffering of KuKu. She was a weird girl and a rip-off version of Tsyu but she was still an interesting weirdo too bad she turned into a weird fish
@@SethAtSNK that Mutant fish is KuKu. After she died they threw her body in the water and she turned into that thing. Some of The kids in the facility randomly turn into those creatures after death or if they overuse their abilities. If you don’t recall KuKu is the girl that’s usually clinging from trees and she’s the one who showed Tokio the mutant babies in the lab. All the monsters the MC has killed are 1 of the kids you see in the lab. The anime switches between past and present as you’ll eventually realize if you haven’t yet. The mc is Tokio’s son
Because... of all... the MEN it eats? But the technical answer is because that is actually what they are sometimes referred to in the original japanese, "man-ita." They are also called "hito gui" which translates directly as "man hater" but the characters used to write it hint toward tasting the man, for reasons too in depth to explain here. Fun fact: Maru seems to be the only character to refer to them as Hiruko (leech child), which is the name of a god in shinto mythology. His parents were gods of creation, and he was their first born son. He was deformed, resembling a leech, and was thusly named. He was sent down river on a raft, because he was flawed. I'm not sure how or if that mythology ties into all of this, but it is really interesting to note that detail.
1:04 why are the running scenes looking so goofy its amazing

Haruki has zero sense for danger, the whole reason he had to be put in his sister's body is that he tried to stab a Hiruko with a pocketknife.
before reading the manga : Lmao fish Hiruko funni
after reading the manga : 😭
Kuku got packed up by the zaza 💀
MJ is a life saver
BRUH the author must be a stoner knowing how to moisturize dry weed. 😂
Feel like that's the only way to make an anime like this but funnily enough must admit it's pretty damn good at the same time lmao
1:55 That Sound😵💫
YOU not consumed weed...weed consumed you
She really like his drawing huh~

@@markissacs7784 I just led myself to a spoiler death trap, but I'm guessing it works so yeah thanks
@@SethAtSNK my bad thought you were a fellow manga reader that didn’t realize cause they only reveal its KuKu after 40 chapters later

If we’re talking about the English translation, Man is gender neutral when capitalized, so it just means it eats people.
