Then which characters represent advanced methods of these summon mechanics? Akaba uses a deck that makes use of all 4 (Pendulum, Fusion, Synchro, Xyz) methods, Yuya is working on building his deck on all 4 by the end of the series.
@@mystery8820 For the advanced levels it's easy. Fusion: Sora Synchro: Crow Xyz: Shay Experts you can even identity... Fusion: Aster Synchro: Jack Xyz: Kite/ Shay (can go either way really) All I'm saying is these guys were a big part of showing how the summoning methods can evolve. It'd been nice to see them face off against similr users of their summoning methods later on. Unfortunately, only person who gets that chance is Julia.
@@darkpaw1522 I would say the Advanced Level Summoners is as follows: Fusion: Sora Synchro: Shinji Xyz: Shay I know Crow is better but he doesn't count purely because he's a Legecy Character and Shinji Weber was the only other good duelist who originated from the Synchro Dimension.
@@jovanisanchez3590 True. Though I just noticed they dropped this pattern heavily in the Fusion department. Why they didn’t bring in Zane or Jim Cook is a mystery. Alexis Rhodes filling in the Ritual Department was okay, though I felt they kinda _had_ to seeing how few ritual users there are in the series (she is literally the only one).

Snuggle Hyena still seems like a waste of an archetype that could have been as connected as Blackwings or Raidraptors then again, LOTS of archetypes could be as connected as those two, but they don't usually have the monsters for it

It always felt so surreal whenever a card or an archetype that came from duel terminal actually shows up in the anime
I always live it
I wish we got to see more of him and his crew. They represented the beginner level summoning mechanics very well.

Don't forget the incriminating sharp tooth that hangs out and the fact that he looks like Inuyasha
Do you think because he has a normal hair color he was killed off early
@@johnblunt6693 By "killed off", you mean "kidnapped", "exiled" or "taken to the shadow realm", right? ;)

For someone who knows duel terminal lore this is just epic that theses cards are here
x-saber deck in a nutshell. xD
Love it.
And THAT's without any Link support, or cards from other YGO series.
👑
He only had to summon Urbellum to finish the set. T-T
yeah but Urbellum is garbage compared to the others
Whatever Man, not all duels are perfectly played to be acceptable, deal with it 😎
Still one of my favorite archetypes! Not sure why invocator is banned, but I still love this deck!
He is banned because of Zoodiac
He’s banned because summoning from deck is busted beyond belief.

3 of the 4 Synchro monster are available in Duel Links.
I need gottom xx
I think that kid is a werewolf anyone agree?
He's supposed to represent a werewolf cowboy I believe. Which is fitting considering X-saber are animal warriors.

Lol
You will get him back
If it is to swing for game ill do it. Back in the day the only 2 cards I would be worried about were Honest and Gorz
0:18 MOMMY?😳😳😳
Is it weird that I think most of his monsters look better than him
This was good.
X👍
And we see why Heavy Storm, Giant Trunade and Cold Wave got banned.
1:21 you mean XX-Saber GOT'EMS ??
these guys only show up in one duel. right?
Dylan Punter 2
oh yeah, there's another duel against Shay/Kurosaki, right?

Those are two in one bit check episode ten and 11
Its arc v
also death because of link
Actually not. The new Crystron Needlefiber opens up a lot of playability with X-Sabers again
Rip
Nope. Not at all. In fact, because of their recoverability from the grave, they make excellent link summons quite easily
I coulda sworn I heard him say X-Saber Susan.
He clearly said Souza
He's so small
