    Thanks for the video. Can i add onvif supported wifi camera the same way? Nowadays they are cheap and also have PTZ control. Will PTZ control also be supported? Those cameras normally come with SD card slot for video recording. I hope you dont need sd card when it is connected to the DVR. Is it so??

      Yes, if you are sure the low cost camera is onvif support.

    Thanks ,Can i add an ONVIF supported Camera with the same way but with IVMS-4200 client.

      I don't think the iVMS-4200 will accept 3rd party Onvif device. iVMS-4200 is the Hikvision software, unless they are willing to set the software for free. However, you may source the IP cameras which support Hikvision private protocols.

      @@golbongtoday I use this software with non-Hikvision cameras and it works fine

    Hi i have seen your video i would like how u have connected the ip camera to the dvr through a poe switch and it is not connected to a router only the poe switch. I am having a problem in connecting my ip camera to my hybrid dvr it sees the ip address but gets connect failure is it because of the port onvif in the dvr and how to set it and or what is the problem i can connect it through my laptop and it can showup on my laptop but on my dvr it is able to see it

      Your IP camera doesn't work with the hybrid DVR, probably the compatible issue. Unlike analog cameras and DVR, video from IP cameras is being digitalized before it is sending out. There is protocols for the IP camera and the recorder to understand each other. While both IP camera and NVR are designed by same suppliers, there is no compatible issue, as they are using the same protocols. Otherwise, you need to both sides are Onvif compatible.

      @@golbongtoday ok both sides are compatible with onvif so what u can suggest me to do

    • @golbongtoday
      @golbongtoday  3 роки тому

      @@fazilbusropun5562 You can determine the Onvif ports of your IP camera, and try to add the camera to DVR manually. If it still doesn't work, see whether it has a firmware update for both the IP camera and DVR or not. The Onvif doesn't mean 100% compatible. It is compatible protocols that has cover large amount of sections.

    Sorry, but how to know the ip address of my camera connected to NVR? In your video, you put the ip address 192.168.1.10 where do you get this ip?

      You can look to your own router or Ethernet provider box that is in automatic DHCP mode then see what is the new device visible and its IP

    I'm trying this but I get error "No more IP camera allowed."
    I only have 3 cameras

    • @golbongtoday
      @golbongtoday  3 роки тому

      You may need to check how many IP cameras the NVR can take in. NO more IP camera allowed properly mean you have added the camera to all the channel, even some of the IP camera is offline.
