And I can tell you one thing, your tougher and braver then most people, I know plenty that wouldn't dare get in that ring the way you did. You have my respect.
The only thing that he missed was how much his opponent stopped to look at the ref to stop the match. I'm sure that he had trouble noticing that while reeling from a punch to the face, but if Ididathing was more aggressive, I don't think the match would have lasted as long as it did. You could see ididathing begging the ref to let him stop pummeling theodd1out.
As someone who watches I Did A Thing, and saw his video about him making a boxing glove that shoots, I Loved the interpretation of him as like 19 feet tall.
Hey man, you went from the skinny kid, to a UA-camr, put a load of muscle on and stepped into a ring with a 6’4 bloke from Australia. No need to feel bad about loosing mate you did good. I’m proud
At first I thought he was joking and that he just found some boxer that looked like him but boy was I wrong. Also the gym buddy thing is 1000% true. I’ve been working out since march with a buddy and it helped me to think that if I skipped then I was letting him down since I was his ride there. Motivation has gone down since he stopped going with me but it helps to know how high a hurdle you have to jump in order to be a better you.
Yeah that was my thought after thinking he did it in cartoon form which I totally would have supported! But mad props for him gettingfit and actually doing it 👏
"None of the fighters had any real beef with each other, except Dad, maybe" Dad was 100% out for blood on that day. You could see it in his eyes after his match.
Hearing that they were so supportive is really heartwarming man, it’s the first fight you guys are in so the fact they were still calm enough to congratulate you afterwards was nice bro
the ending was legit so cute having all of your friends and family (and some people you don't even know) sing happy birthday to you IN THE RING must have been something else also i love the people in the audience (which was unfortunately most of them) who just didn't gaf and were on their phones lol
Its funny because "I did a thing" was actually pretty gentle with you during the creator clash. There are so many times he could have TKO'd you but he clearly didn't want to hurt you that badly. It was kind of sweet honestly seeing him land a strong hit and back up to like look at the ref.
I think it also has to do with Australian boxing, you're supposed to back off for a few seconds after landing a hard punch. But IDAT is pretty chill so I agree that it was probably just him being nice
I remember your first irl vlogs and damn you're jacked now. A friend of mine tried to put on some weight and wasn't really able to do it. I didn't try and I did. The bad way. The years following 2020 weren't kind. Huge respect for you to actually carry on with this weird idea of boxing a stranger. I'm proud of you
6:08 that's why mental training is just as important as physical training. Novak Djokovic has a really good method to deal with his thoughts during a tennis match. He did a lot of mindfullness. Everyday he takes 15 minutes to let his thoughts come and go and this helps him to deal with them. I know that getting punched in the face is way more stressfull than hitting a tennisball but there are also really stressfull moments like facing a matchpoint or missing an easy shot in important moments. Thanks to his training he knows how to deal with these thoughts. I think it's really interessting.
not disregarding how much I loved this video but what really got me was that clip at the end. I’ve been watching James since his early years and seeing all those fans wishing him a happy birthday made me so happy for him :) He’s come so far and he deserves all the love and support!
I don’t think you realize how much respect you’ve earned from the public by stepping into the ring. People have died in there and anyone who steps in there is a certified warrior. Respect.
Hmmm I don't know about "certified warrior" I respect boxers a ton but the fights these influencers participate in are clearly different You saw Mayweather hugging Paul. Logan Paul has said that he claims that he could beat Tyson, because he's old. Proving that he's just fighting old timers, and still losing. The influencers know that it's really about money and they're not gonna get seriously injured, especially by another influencer. I respect real boxers. Not anyone who gets in a ring and starts swinging their arms.
@@proffesornugget1613 you really think someone who isn't a boxer, who relies entirely on social media and outward appearances, would really beat up and seriously injure another influencer? Imagine how many people would hate I did a thing for seriously hurting James!

Hey man, you went from the skinny kid, to a UA-camr, put a load of muscle on and stepped into a ring with a 6’4 bloke from Australia. No need to feel bad about loosing mate you did good. I’m proud

James's gym bromance with DJ is the best part of this video.
Stop
@@tritiper4188 no it’s great
At first I thought he was joking and that he just found some boxer that looked like him but boy was I wrong.
…completely platonically
Yeah that was my thought after thinking he did it in cartoon form which I totally would have supported! But mad props for him gettingfit and actually doing it 👏
Now I can see the "tattoo" tattoo

Hearing that they were so supportive is really heartwarming man, it’s the first fight you guys are in so the fact they were still calm enough to congratulate you afterwards was nice bro
Cheers for James and other UA-camrs for supporting the good cause and playing sportingly, having a blast ❤

the ending was legit so cute
having all of your friends and family (and some people you don't even know) sing happy birthday to you IN THE RING must have been something else
also i love the people in the audience (which was unfortunately most of them) who just didn't gaf and were on their phones lol
🥳🤗👍

Respect.
ua-cam.com/video/N61lqT5XXz4/v-deo.html
Hmmm
I don't know about "certified warrior"
I respect boxers a ton but the fights these influencers participate in are clearly different
You saw Mayweather hugging Paul.
@@absolutezerochill2700 you can always get seriously injured no matter who you are fighting
@@proffesornugget1613 you really think someone who isn't a boxer, who relies entirely on social media and outward appearances, would really beat up and seriously injure another influencer? Imagine how many people would hate I did a thing for seriously hurting James!

As a casual boxer myself, I can give every aspect about boxing, training and such in this video my full badge of approval.
Now the REAL challenge is bingeing all 12 seasons of The Big Bang Theory while staying in bed the entire time and not laughing at all.
James before this video: “Life is Fun!!!”
James after this video: “Life *ISN’T* Fun…”
As someone who's seen I did a thing in real life, I would be scared out of my skin to fight him.
If he's that ripped to be intimidating irl right off the bat... and if I didn't know anything about him other than his confidence to do bat shit crazy insane things... i woulda crapped myself in fear and backed out!
