Elok Hsu your a refreshing person. Just to be open minded enough to listen to and deliver this gem to the world On this platform you created for yourself. Thank you so much. I believe this is the second reaction video you have presented that i listened to. Keep them coming you have wonderful taste in music.
Thank you for sharing this masterpiece with the world. Uli Jon Roth s song that influenced hundreds of thousands of human beings to pick up the Gee-tar.
I never really realized how much of a masterpiece this song is. Made the year I was born. I listened to the Scorps in the 80's-90's but never heard this till I was 45 . My God how did I miss this over the years. Wonderful finger work and song is just great
Scorpions formed in 1965. They've had such a looooong career compared to what most of us know from them. I've always known they were around forever, but I like most of us really only knew the 80s glam stuff until recently. Uli Jon Roth is a fucking genius
You are hilarious! A lead singer that knows what to do with his arms! Oh my goodness! You bring me so much joy! You are great, I think I already told you this, it’s not everyone that can get a consistent smile and laugh from me. You do it by just being you. 🧡
I think you'll also like the title track for "In Trance" as it's just as emotional with how the instruments are arranged and written. A different emotion, of course, but there's something special about that song that I can't get tired of.
That was better than I thought it was going to be. I’ve been hearing about this song for decades but I’ve never checked it out. I really liked it! Thanks a lot! Good joke about Jon, 😄
'70s Scorpions were the ultimate from 1972 Lonesome Crow to 1979 Love Drive, although I do love 1980 Animal Magnetism and 1982 Blackout, the best is "In Trance" and "Virgin Killer" two of the greatest albums ever made
This is exactly how I feel. Uli era to me is the ultimate. You should check out ELECTRIC SUN if you don't know it already. It's ULI's solo stuff from after he left the scorps. You won't regret it
Finally a critic who knows his business. It was magic or something that was in the air. It was a world that flashed quickly by but powerful enough to illuminate the whole room. As for Ulrich Roth I burned out after the ,2nd solo album.
Scorpions have had such a long and varied career as a band. Their often thought of as an 80s band because most of their well know hits were glam anthems and powdr ballads from the 80s, but they actually began in 1965. Their second guitarist Uli Jon Roth, featured on this track, is widely considered within the guitar community to be a master and pioneer of neoclassical alongside Randy Roads and Richie Blackmoore. The first 15 years or so of their career featured songs with a lot of psychedelic and progressive influences. Uli Jon Roth specifically had a lot of influence on later "shred" guitar players, and thanks to him and singer Klaus Meine's darker lyrical content during the 70s, this era of Scorpions are often cited as being proto-metal. They definitely helped lay the groundwork for what a lot of European metal would sound like in the future. By 79 they would find a lot of commercial success and with the departure of Roth, they adopted a more glam style of hard rock, which defined the band for decades to come. Uli remains an icon in heavy metal circles. To make a comparison, just as Rakin is often referred to as your favorite rapper's favortie rapper, Uli is known as your favorite guitarist's favorite guitarist
One of the most incredible guitarists to ever walk the Earth. Uli is a God amongst men. He is proof that countless hours of practice really pays off. This is one of their best songs. A criminally underrated band.
I'm also glad you gave credit to Uli Jon Roth!!...you are totally correct that Uli is probably THEE most underrated guitarist in the world; I'm glad you mentioned everything in your overview!!...🌷💖😎
This is one of Scorpions' favorite songs. Actually, I was thinking of making a request. It's an amazing song selection. thanks so much. Think of this song, which maybe everyone here will be happy with. ”King Crimson - EPITAPH live In The Court of the Crimson King Steve Hackett & Greg Lake & Wetton” "Gary Moore - Always Gonna Love You [HD]"
You have so great reactions, I found your channel recently and this is it! Greetings from Poland and I ask you to do sth about The Doors. Rock and Roll will never die!
Polar Nights and Speedy's Coming are two other great songs with Uli Jon Roth. Also look up Uli Jon Roth Randy Hansen Zeno Roth - In From The Storm live. A Jimi Hendrix tribute.
Another great choice of song Elok! 👍 Now that Uli Jon Roth has whetted your appetite for neo-classical shred guitar (if Ritchie Blackmore hadn't done so already), you owe it to yourself to check out some of Yngwie Malmsteen's work from the early to mid-1980s. The instrumental "Black Star" has him shredding up a storm and "Jet to Jet" (from when he was in Alcatrazz) has him playing with former Rainbow vocalist Graham Bonnet. Also, the video for "I'll See The Light Tonight" is a cheesy dungeons and dragons classic. Rock on! 🤘
I revisited that stuff about a decade ago. But in my mind ECLIPSE is the best. The tracks are listenable and YNGWIE and his bag of tricks fully on display. Alas the hair metal world had a dark cloud ready to hit and it got socked with a knock out punch. But I will always have a cd of ECLIPSE at my fingertips. I am crazy about neo classical scales and harmonic minor shreds . It really pushes my music buttons.
nope I don't think so, that would be Michael Schenker who Uli Joh Roth respected for his amazing riffs and solos, Michael opened doors for many German Guitarist back then
Nobody reacts to this song! Well almost nobody, that puts you on the cool girl list. You want to hear a real SCORPIONS song? Try Another Piece of Meat or Lovedrive. The songs that made them famous to begin with.
I met Rudolph Schenker @ Tower Records in NYC the day before a Scorpions concert @ Madison Square Garden in 1984.
Uli Jon Roth is brilliant. I was happy to see him on solo tour. His wife sold me a DVD and they are great people.

True Scorpions classic. Uli was so good!

Listen to we'll burn the sky live from Tokyo Tapes live album. It is an awesome song.
70s Scorpions take some beating.....Uli was classically trained and he admitted taking "parts" from Motzart to creat the opening riff...... amazing.

I don't know this song but I do like the Scorpions. Thank you.
You're gonna go to the top. Great channel. I can't say enough how awesome your selections are.
oh, with uli jon roth. thank you.
Uli Jon Roth was a brilliant guitarist. Saw his first solo concert in the UK. He was very emotional. Great gig.
One of the smartest and most talented bands to grace the airwaves. Such a huge pool of great music to dive into. Luv the Scorps!

Credit goes to ULI JON ROTH Love that guy a real trendsetter in the 70s.
That was better than I thought it was going to be. I’ve been hearing about this song for decades but I’ve never checked it out. I really liked it! Thanks a lot! Good joke about Jon, 😄
I like your reaction. It's SCorpions :)
Probably their best song or close to it, this song rocks
Maybe but am really partial to “Your Light” on the same album.

She absolutely must do this one for her next Scorpions song!

Good one Elok.. Uli Jon Roth dominates this track.
Hi Elok 😊
Please check out Orbit culture - open eye 😃
Uli Jon Roth is the greatest guitarist of all time.
Uli Jon Roth was shred guitar before shred guitar.
nope I don't think so, that would be Michael Schenker who Uli Joh Roth respected for his amazing riffs and solos, Michael opened doors for many German Guitarist back then
@@salsaucedo Schenker, no doubt. I didn't say Uli was the 1st, just said he was a shred type player before that style was really recognized.
Please react to James Arthur - September (Animated Lyric Video or Vevo Live Video) :)
cinderella...
Sails of shar rone is how it’s pronounced. Saw them 6 times and got abducted by women once from the third row!
Its actually pronounced exactly how she says it its in reference to Greek Mythology.
