I love the progression of this! Seeing the mix of the ink and then pencil is super cool. Love this painting, especially the metallics. And I would love to see more dragons.
Thank you very much! 😍🐉✨ I really enjoyed working with the pencils and inks, too! Ooo yeah, I think it would be very fun to paint a Japanese woman and a Japanese dragon etc! ❤️
When you brought out the metallics I screamed Yessss! This painting is beyond gorgeous. I really would love to see your process for painting from the very beginning from finding and creating your references 🥰
Hahaha 🤣✨ Amazing. You must feel the same way about Metallics as I do! That’s a great idea~ I would love to share how I go about creating illustrations from concept to sketch to paint. Thank you as always! 🥰❤️🐉
Good god this turned out so beautiful!! I love how you explained your process as you painted. It's just stunning! Where do you even begin to compose something like this??
Aw thank you very much! 😍 I was commissioned to paint a ‘dragon’ for an art store’s online event. I was inspired by Chinese new year & their colors. From there I began to look at references of women with horses (for the pose and composition inspiration). This was because I wanted the feeling of partnership between the dragon & human. I played a bit with having a large size difference between the dragons’ head and hers, but ultimately choose similar sizes because I didn’t want either figure stealing the show~ Anyway, thank you for your kind words 🐉❤️✨
Thank you for the reply! That is so cool!! What a great idea to model it after a horse's head! And I love that extra touch of the metallic paint. Perfection! 😍
Beautiful!😌
Thank you so much!! 🥰❤️✨🐉
Absolutely gorgeous ✨👌🏽
Thank you! 😍✨

Thank YOU for watching!~ 🐉✨
I don’t know how you don’t have over 100,000 followers because you are one of the best illustrators on UA-cam.
Oh my goodness that is so kind of you to say! 💕🥹 You totally made my day. Thank you~
