The fact that you can make the exact same blade shape on every knife proves your skill. That being said I wish you would make something different once in a while.

Thereby unless using his video in its entirety, it falls under fair use. Maybe he should make his videos private to only subscribers oh, then that would alleviate this issue. But frankly I don't think he's going to be able to do much about them using his video cuz I'm sure they didn't use the whole thing. It sucks, cuz I like watching this guy and I don't feel that it's right that another company is using his work to advertise their stuff especially if their stuff is sub par, but depending on the means in which they did so, it's not necessarily illegal.

shurap Единственное что я нашел это проволоку из нержавейки и из обычной стали, может такое попробовать? Ведь на режущий край все равно можно хорошую приварить. Я только не знаю если это нержавейка сварится.

это не дамасская сталь. В дамасской стали слои самородноо железа (с высокой чистотой) чередуются со сталью. Возникает амартизационый эффект. А это просто слоистая сталь. Где узор определяет просто сварной шов 2 одинаковых сталей.

Посыпаю флюсом (бура 90% +кварцевый песок 5% + порошок древесного угля 5%) это нужно для проведения (кузнечной) сварки. Флюс сплавляется с окалиной - образовавшаяся субстанция достаточно текучая и легко вытесняется при деформации. Кроме того флюс защищает от кислорода и за счёт древесного угля, науглероживает поверхностный слой металла - что понижает температуру сварки (если вкратце).

Borax or some other type of flux. Prevents corrosion which occurs rapidly at high temperatures.

Спасибо, я уже и клинок начал делать (в дизайне Дамаска, будет присутствовать кнопка ютуба). Осталась последние две сварки - пока отложил.
