Wow, Tibalt really dominated the competition at this MTG tournament! Thanks to OptimusTom's insightful decktech videos, Tibalt's strategy was on point, leaving opponents in awe. That combo he pulled off was pure genius. Can't wait to see more epic plays like this!

waiting for the video on mono black as I despise the deck; I'll be patient and let Niv to light have the next video spotlight video though

Great video! One suggestion I would like to see is a subcategorization of matchups, as placing extremely good matchups together with matchups that while technically good, are still really close to 50/50 isn't as informative/helpful, while I don't think WR estimations are needed, just dividing good matchups into two groups could be enough...didn't know rakdos vampires had a good matchup against lotus combo!

I thought about doing that, and I might still! I'm trying to keep the videos between 20-25 minutes so right now that's the easiest part to "smash together." I tend to keep the matchups that are 55%+ on win rate gathering sites (or decks that have low match count as 50/50 that I've played and know are more skewed one way) as the first section, and then the under 50% ones on the next page.
Would it be better to show just strong and weak match ups versus now where I try to show all decks you'd see in a room?

@@optimustomtv I htink that explaining every matchup like you did this video is fine, but just graphically dividing them for example "Best matchups:" at the top and at the bottom "Good matchups" is enough

can you make a video about UW control, bc the amount of new sideboard tech is overwhelming

How do u actually get the Quakebringer activation when its in the graveyard with Mutavault? I really don't get how it works. Quakebring deal 2 triggers at the beginning of upkeep, I suppose there is no window where you can activate a mutavault by then to get the deal 2 damage trigger. Can you help me clarify if there is a way to do so. Thank you. Great vid btw.

      Thank you!
Also thank you for pointing this out. I dug a little harder into the interaction and I found out I am indeed incorrect here. Originally, I was led to believe by someone that the Quakebringer trigger can be responded to on Upkeep, allowing the Mutavault time to be activated in order to be seen by the trigger. However, I dug around online a little more and it's like you say - the trigger looks for the other Giant before you can activate Mutavault, and therefore it cannot be seen by the Quakebringer ability.
