The Mayor should be held accountable for his poor running of London and sackable for it!
He's made it his top priority to make life difficult for Lononers and has ignore all of the important things like stabbings or building affordable housing. He hasn't built a single affordable home, all talk and full of lies, completely controlled. God help us if his party take over. Reform and independents are the way forward until things change.

This whole situation could be resolved by sacking the corrupt mayor, who, by chance does not really give a dman about the air quality of London, nor does he care about the lives of all the young people being stabbed in his region of supposed responsibility.

That being the case not only would you have to ban cars , but all Vehicles , coaches, buses, taxis, all aeroplanes, helicopters, farm vehicles tractors and the like, cruise ships, fishing boats, day boats etc. So you and Khan should be using a bike , are you, are your kids, your wife, mother and pregnant sister and disabled brother ?

If this was about air quality in London we would all be for it , but it isn't , its an easy way for a failed Mayor to plug the gaping hole in in his budget due to so many failed projects , and vast overspend's . Not to mention the large pay increases he has handed out to his cronies . He has failed the people of London and needs to go now.

Agreed anyone sensible would leagalise small electric vehicles such electric scooters then see the impact that has on traffic first before even having a consultation for something like ULEZ. Nothing more than a money grab while ignoring the obvious solution that would likely have a massive impact on our Cities congestion.
Electric vehicles is not the answer. Batteries are very polluting in their production and disposal. They also require gas oil and coal power to charge the batteries. Petrol engines are actually very clean when running at temperature and diesel engines are used in mines and other enclosed places as they are totally safe aa diesel exhaust has no carbon monoxide and contains oxygen. The answer is to develop hydrogen fuel to convert petrol engines to hydrogen. This technology has existed for decades.
@Marky Mark They won't do that because people would soon start making the own hydrogen through water electrolysis. They wouldn't make any money if eveyone had a electrolysis machine at home.

We are suffering due to high price rise in fuel and food and now the tycoon mayor of EV industry is pushing his cameras into our mouth by force to cough out more money to buy ULEZ compliant vehicle so that he will come up with a new idea saying people have more money so let’s push the council tax too.
As much as I think he is the worst mayor of all time, I have no sympathy for Londoners that keep voting him in.
Most of those that vote for him have or have access to a benefits subsidised motability vehicle due to their habitual claiming from the disability benefits fund. Thus this won't impact them, motability vehicles are sold on after 3 years from registration and replaced, a new to 3 year old vehicle, even a diesel one won't be chargeable in the ULEZ. Not to mention the park anywhere disabled badge that comes with it as well.

The mayor wants to protect children’s health, so what about those who will be impacted financially who may not be able feed their children with healthy food nor themselves, or may not be able to pay rent, rates etc. The evidence is unclear that ULEZ outside the current zone will have a substantial influence on health, not a balanced approach at all.
Only counts what Mayor wants and not what Londoners think what’s best for them and their families!

TFL and Khan are going ahead regardless. The air quality would be a lot better if cars weren't bottle necked , restricted speed. Bicycle lanes which very few bikes use if at all, bus lanes that are to small for the buses to move freely so they sit there going nowhere or the driver risks damaging the bus. Speed limits of 20 mph which a catalyst converter can't get to operating temperature thus can't turn exhaust gases to something less harmful. Traffic lights that hold you to long or change to quickly making you sit there, pedestrian lights have been changed to stop you at 1am to 5am so you have to stop when there are NO PEDESTRIANS CROSSING, this has been done by TFL and KHAN So they can make and keep polluting air quality so they can charge 12.50 a day but once you pay 12.50 it doesn't matter. The most polluting vehicles on the road are buses, lorries and vans, I've checked vehicle emissions and a vehicle can omit 200mg of Co2 but is euro 6 engine are exempt from charge but a vehicle that omits 129mg of Co2 if not euro 6 are charged 12.50 how does that work, Co2 is Co2 regardless of weather euro 6 or not, they say most polluting vehicles but 200mg of co2 is more polluting than 129mg Co2 no. They say 4000 deaths a year are caused by emissions so 4000 die in January and the 11 months after no one dies. 4000 seams to be a well rounded figure not 3754 or 1251 why 4000. TFL and KHAN no this it's never about your health it's about MONEY. The government what you to work as long as you can then die, no pension to pay out, so when did anyone ever care about your health 🤔 and as soon as they've implemented this and people change then they will move the goal posts, worried about your health MY ARSE.

SK and TFL don't care about pollution in London, but on how to raise more money. If the money raised from cc, ulez would go to the treasury none of this would happen. Tfl has been funded by the government so with money from people living in Liverpool and Wales and Manchester who will not benefit from TFL, so it is right that this money should go back to the taxpayers and the treasury so the government can implement measures to reduce pollution in cities and the country

If this ULEZ was about air quality, the children's lungs etc, non compliant vehicles would be outright banned and NOT allowed in of they pay a fee.
