People are saying thoroughbreds, but my first thought was Gina from Peaky Blinders because the character was so weirdly unlikable, even for that show, and it would explain why her actinf was off too like she was overcompensating 😅😂

you have empathize and root for your character even when they are questionable as hell LMFAOO😭😭
Problem with acting, that the brain doesn’t give a shit if you act or not, it take seriously your new persona. “Get is of”- she meant get off of her , because it’s a big risk to being stuck in that role, and started to act in real life like character, it’s a principle: “fake it till you make it”. When you act for real, it could reach the level of splitting your personality into few ones. If you want ever to be in the filming industry- you better be producer, because that’s where the true power is, and money.

Art. But u have a fair point, actors gained more attention and love in these past 100 years. "Small folks" always needed someone shiny to gaze upon, kings, queens, royalty, the rich... But back then artists weren't really regarded, only few, with time this changed. I believe it's better now, because we appreciate art a bit more, not only money. Though we still glorify influencers and celebrities with no talents.. but actors, artists, dancers etc, they're all in the same "room" at least and we even get mad when people of no talents are being placed in the same room as artists. Personally I enjoy watching and reading about artists of all kind, people who inspire, move and quite often overcome. Most start from that similar place we're all in. And stories about overcoming and art are always adding to humanity. If you don't think actors/movies impact society and culture, well that's a whole different convo
