But problem was that the maharaja of kashmir was a hindu 🕉️ so abdulla putted conditions in front of nehru to remove maharaja and give power to him then only he will join india 🇮🇳 .Maharaja wanted to join india but he didnt wanted to loose power and nehru was unhappy with him . Nehru should have merged kashmir to india first and then they could have solved the problem but it didn't happened.So there is nothing like muslim were so secular that they liked "IDEA OF INDIA " . Before him there were other MPs from Srinagar & other seats from J&K in the Lok Sabha (17th & earlier), as far as the parliament is concerned. What is missing and are due to be held (sep end '24) are the J&k assembly elections, which have not been held since the last assembly was dissolved in 2018. Frankly, i expected better from Saba.
Only 2-3 % rich elites in Kashmir are actually benefitting from the present increase in tourism there. The vast majority of Kashmiris are suffering and economically and politically in a very bad way and things need to change entirely. Statehood must be restored with constitutional and economic guarantees .
I am all for article 370 and 35A but I don’t like this own constitution for a state that discriminate women and girls,like when they marry someone not from that state they are no longer a citizen this for me is something that I will not accept, but the right for flag, constitution, some what of sons and daughters of soil rights for land and resources are all fine with me.. I mean like in the United States 🇺🇸 every state in India should also have flag and constitution under the constitution and flag of India it’s a way of delegation of governance to people of that state who know what is better for them..
