To be honest, I'm a bit skeptical about the fact they said where we have to do lots of Self-Studying and lots of readings, honestly I'm more of an active person and was looking for more active and practical courses and I do not know if UvA provides that.
Hi, Do you offer work at a Brand or production manager level to afford the Masters Degree Communication Science: Entertainment Communication in Full-time, Media and Technology?
Hello, I'm very interested in both Communication Science and Media Studies in UvA, but I'd like to work in user experience in the future. Do you have any recommendations for which program would be more fitting?
Thanks for showing interest in our university. If you have specific questions about the study programme of Media and Culture, please contact the Faculty of Humanities Education Desk (currently only reachable online and by telephone): +31 20 525 4952. They can help you in providing an answer to your question. ^LJ
Hi Julia, thanks for showing interest in our university. Media Studies consists of two programmes at the UvA: Media and Culture (go.uva.nl/3ksW4bp) and Media and Information (go.uva.nl/3zvqD4A). You can check the full study programme (including the courses) via the links above. Good luck. ^LJ
Hi, Tamy! You can enter the field of journalism after graduating from Media and Culture. You may find that doing an internship in this field during your studies will contribute a lot. In the third year of the programme, students have the freedom to choose whether they want to do a minor, go on exchange or work as an intern for a semester, so there are possibilities for you to explore your interests. Best of luck! ^LG
Hi, Sumit! Thanks for your interest in UvA. You can check out all PhD vacancies here: www.uva.nl/en/research/phd/phd-vacancies/phd-vacancies.html For now, there aren't any openings in the Media department, but you should keep an eye on this page. Good luck! ^LG
