It seems that there might be some changes in Streamer.bot that has again put people in a loop. So in addition I will advise to please make sure you uninstalled websocket as its no longer needed and included in both streamer.bot and OBS-Studio, and verify that your IPs correlate between each program. This should resolve most issues, and if not, comment where your issues are occurring and maybe we can find a solution.
where are the obs-websocket settings in OBS? Or is that no longer required? You just dragged the window in from another monitor in this video, but surely you still have to co-ordinate settings, otherwise what is there to set up?
Thank you! Dude i watched 6 other tutorials and was just like what, should have just tried that but that's me a real dunce some days. I had to google and go to most recent upload on this, and you are the MAN!!!!
Thank you so much! This video was really good and easy to understand and right to the point! I managed to follow the instructions easily, this is how a tutorial should be done :)
@@Sqidaedir thanks I was on the same version but re-installed and it was there! Thanks! On a side not, I was connected to OBS but all of my OBS sub-actions needed me to open and close them for the change to work on that specific action.
So do you still need to manually download the web socket plug in or not? I saw in another video that the plug in 5.0 is already included in obs 28.0 but it's not showing up for me. Thanks
You should no longer need a windows installation as Websocket 5.x comes preinstalled in OBS 28 under the "Tools" tab labelled something like "obs-websocket Settings"
@@Sqidaedir OK thanks. I Uninstaller the windows installation of web socket but I'm missing the web socket point in the tools section now... I think I should reinstall obs shouldn't I?
@@faxelight7049 Although I haven't been able to reproduce this error, I have heard it floating around, hopefully reinstalling helped. If not, you may want to roll back to OBS 27 just until there is more to learn.
See if your host IP and port settings for websocket on both OBS and Streamer.bot corollate. This is a step I may have missed some of the details for. Additionally, if that didn't work, now that websocket is built into OBS, it may conflict with the windows installation, and that might need to be uninstalled.

@@caesaria The OBS Websocket Settings are located under the Tools Category.

hi, great video. anyone knows how to fix the problem that it never connects to OBS ? in my pc it shows "partially connected"
mine doesn't have the "version" option so not sure how to fix, but thanks for the info@
It might be possible that you still need to update your Streamer.bot

I had this problem.. cuz of only one thing.. the websocket password.
After i disabled it, it just works.
