Not anyone can sing these two very difficult songs. Regine's iconic voice and lungs are so powerful and cannot be overshadowed by a full orchestra and 50 man choral. She delivered it with full emotions, clarity and elegance. And to think that it was her 15th number or so for that night. She is truly amazing and magnificent.
I must agree, I can't imagine how she rehearsed getting the right emotion, diction and clarity to this number or I must say the entire performance in this concert, whew!

It’s difficult to sing in open field - the wind can dry your airway plus the pressure is stronger- the frequency is not as stable when it’s indoor, with an orchestra and chorale she did this with excellence and consistency!!!!
She is one of the best vocalist of all time. She isn't a songwriter or anything but a master vocalist and interpreter. No one bashes Bette Midler, Barbra, Whitney, Celine for covering or singing songs other wrote(for them) so they shouldn't bash Regine

I’ve seen a lot of people rave about her performance of A Piece of Sky, specially in her Songbird sings Streisand show because of the high note at the end BUT her performance here of Papa Can You Hear Me is the best performance she’s done ever of a Streisand song. She made it her own as if it’s her story.
