I wish my pastel was that bright:) He is 3 and lost a lot of his color now. I really love your clean and organized set up. Looks Great! Your snakes are gorgeous! Hope to see more vids!
That is one awesome Pastel! You don't see adult Pastels like that! Those are professional racks! I used to keep my balls in tanks but switched to racks after running out of space but my balls are doing much better in the tubs as temps and humidity are prefect! There is nothing wrong with your snakes homes! They all look like very healthy and well kept animals!
@subzSauria I am also American however i do not put my adult ball pythons in tubs either but it is a great way to keep very young snakes as you can see every snake has its own space and you can keep tract of how much each is eating and growing instead of tossing them in a fish tank and not knowing if one isnt getting fed there are meany other benefits if you look it up too
I just got 1.1 Pastel's, both have a light orange tint to them near their belly. Got them at Repti-Con atlanta yesterday. Can't wait to breed them and get some Super Pastel's
That certainly looks like a lemon, a lot of times people try to sell a lemon and the pattern just isn't right. I like the ones with the SOLID black patter (as their morph specifies a lemon should have a black pattern). Thats truly a beautiful Lemon, I have one myself, probably not as Meyer :)
she is Beautiful man, I just came across your videos and you have some very gorgeous animals there man. I'd love to own one myself but sadly I'm still just a teenager sooooo parents call and dad said no sadly.
@perthchickp pythons and in particular ball pythons love to be in small and defined places.. in big spaces they are stressed and risk to loose appetite etc.. those drawers are perfect for ball pythons
Where did u get them containers from,? for keeping the snakes wot a practical ,senisable, safe and clean way of keeping balls and space saving to ! omg i sound like a ikea advert!
a pastel to a spider gets you bumblebess.. and and pastel to a pastel is a super pastel which is just really yellow and doesnt fade and has high blushy on its back
@sergiwu you can find this balls in reptile expos in your area just look them up on google for one local to where you live. and also they could be a lot cheaper than retail price.
When I get my own place I'm getting one of these. I have my lovely corn snake who is turning 11 this year but she'll stay with my parents, so when I get my own place I'm going to get a ball python. So beautiful
it depends. On the punnett squares the possibility you would get 50% pastel and 50% normal. but genetically the odd are varied, which means u can get more pastel or more normal. For example, out of 6 eggs u could get 2 pastels and 4 normals or 2 normals and 4 pastels etc. and so on. Just so you know the punnett squares diagram is used to predict the outcome of a particular cross breeding which in reality the outcome is not precise as you would expected. its genetic, everything is all random.
too thin, however, it isn't uncommon. it may have started to fast. they do that in the winter. either that or the conditions in your cage aren't right.. did she just shed?
She last shed 17 days ago. She was clearly too thin when I bought her. She's eaten everytime and is putting on weight nicely. She's now 2 ft long and around 250 grams. When I first weighed her she was 166 grams, and that was a few weeks after I got her.
Hey man you have some beautiful snakes. But i was just wondering if u cud give us a lil help. we have a video of our female pastel but were not sure her age. or how much to feed here we have been giving her 1-2 hoppers a week she eats really good. but it seems like its not enough. she is very sweet. and also we think she is getting ready to shed because her belly is looking a lil pink and her colors arent as bright. And also any other tips u have wud be greatful. First time owner here

@perthchickp Uh...LOOK AT THE SNAKE. Big, healthy, and most of all, ALIVE. Obviously it's not cruel, and there is air.
If she's a Nerd line, check out Kevin's fader gene.
Something that popped up in his lemons. They look almost like supers.

Nice,is it het for anything else?maybe bumblebee?
Why do snake owners keep them in the dark, shelves? Wouldn't you want them in display cages?
