I can't believe I have not heard of these folks before. I could listen to them all day. Jenny is just incredible on the violin and that song just makes you want to get up and dance to it.
This song makes me want to grab my long rifle and ride the war path. America is blessed for our scotch Irish immigrants who brought fiddles and dulcimer songs across the water to Appalachia.
I am Irish and feel this in my eternal soul. It is the purest blend of love and fearful vengeance, a blend of the old and new worlds to perfection 🇺🇸 🇮🇪 🎻
My word. Beautifully played in every sense that it can be. I saw another version of her doing this and she played it just as beautifully but slower. To me it looks like she’s gotten so much better and the other rendition was flawless anyway. What charisma too!
@@skeeter3969 Skeeter, James is right. I agree with you; looks should not matter, but, with women in the entertainment industry, looks matter a great deal, more so than men! After all, there were some butt-ugly rock stars that still had fame and fortune, so that's proof that men can get away with being homely! Jenny being very pretty and extremely talented is a great combination! Again, not me saying this, but the industry itself
Another excellent rendition of an excellent song by an excellent band! I've watched all of their videos I can find and haven't been disappointed yet. Great group, great music, and, one fine, lovely, talented, Hot violinist! Forsooth! Methinks I be in Love with M'lady, Jenny O'Conner 😍
Art, youth, living in engagement to her craft, under the autumn sun, whatever cares she had subsumed in the wonderful, hypnotic phrasing of her performance. I wonder if Jenny watches these videos and remembers that gentle force that coursed through her on the stage. I hope it is still there to summon. How I wished I knew of Circa Paleo back then, to be part of the live audience.
Don't be afraid dude, i am a Thrash and Black Metal fan and the more i listen Jenny the more i love her play...maybe because i'm a fan of A.Vivaldi and JS.Bach too??

I have been listening to her for the last four years and this is the only one I enjoy watching , listening to her you just don’t know what to make of the mood of the music ? Is it happy or sad ?
She was in Texas when I seen her, It was much later I seen her on UA-cam, I are 74 Years Old and used to attented Folk Faires got hooked in Chicago years ago, Oh B.T.W. I am a guitarist was taught Baylor U. in 1958-1963...Violin 2 years then Jazz Guitar... now I couldn't play Jacks-Rabbit on Violin, i am all Jazz Guitarro Boxcarro Guitarro
It's unbelievable. The guitarist looks like my dead friend as two drops of water. He also played guitar and violin and his appearance and movements are exactly the same. An absolute copy. Sometimes I turn on this video and see that where in a parallel universe my friend Pashka is young and alive and still playing guitar beautiful music. So joyful !
I keep pressing my volume then I realize it's already at max... its just me not hearing the music. I then blind folded myself and my hearing is back on line. This talent bring subtle comments and smiles to many.
I know this is The Last of the Mohicans theme, but it also sounds like it could have been lifted right out of Outlander. Whoo! I have tears it's so pretty.😥
Oh, there once was a hero named Ragnar the Red Who came riding to Whiterun from ole Rorikstead And the braggart did swagger and brandish his blade As he told of bold battles and gold he had made But then he went quiet, did Ragnar the Red When he met the shieldmaiden Matilda who said Oh, you talk and you lie and you drink all our mead Now I think it's high time that you lie down and bleed And so then came clashing and slashing of steel As the brave lass Matilda charged in full of zeal And the braggart named Ragnar was boastful no more When his ugly red head rolled around on the floor And the braggart named Ragnar was boastful no more When his ugly red head rolled around on the floor
77 and loving this.
Beautifully performed and speaking as a Scotsman I love the way she wears her socks on her arms..😉
😂 arm warmers. But basically yeah, socks w/ holes! 😋

Tom this is Really Old and It Took me 30 Minutes searching to find it: UA-cam algorithm tries to make these 2006 era videos hidden.
This song makes me want to grab my long rifle and ride the war path. America is blessed for our scotch Irish immigrants who brought fiddles and dulcimer songs across the water to Appalachia.
My oldest grandson plays the dulcimer, (among other instruments) and he graduated college with honors.
I think you meant scots not scotch scotch is a drink as in scotch whiskey. Scots are the people of scotland .

I mean, actor Christopher Lee did a Symphonic Metal album back in the day with Charlemagne, metal and classical/symphonic aren't mutually exclusive
Its still the best fiddle experience I've ever had. Thank you !
It is a pleasure to listen music with that great violinist.

I love this tune, but there is definitely something about Jenny.
She has skills. Definitely perfect and.. The music is always so depressing though. It reminds me of the movie that cook that orange haired guy.
Double stops add great depth.
