Your story reminds me of the movie Rebel Moon in which the militarized Motherworld threatens a farming world. The new edition of Cartograph currently on Kickstarter looks really nice, I should get it. Great review, thanks.
Thank you for sharing this been watching alot of things on your channel over past few days and have gotten quiet a collection as ive recently got back into solo rpgs.Just like to say thank you very much for all your clear descriptions and going thru things as you have really enticed me to get a collection hurts the wallet but loves my brain lol.Thank you
@@GeekGamers01 Good to know, thanks. [edit] I think they're Bicycle Alchemy II Gothic Playing Cards. I searched and was surprised to find that Bicycle has a ton of themed decks. I always written them off as a plain jane card company.
Hey I have a question before playing ttrpg solo do you need ttrpg knowledge and experience like, watch UA-cam ttrpg related things and playing a game session as a player then a gm before playing, should I watch ttrpg related or play a game session or both before playing solo?
Many games (like this one) are self-contained and you can just pick it up and play. If you are attempting to use a tradition RPG rule set (meaning those designed for a GM + players), it might help to watch a few vids. I can (of course!) recommend viewing the most popular vids on my site, which offer a lot of general advice.
@@GeekGamers01 In my opinion new ttrpg players who are really new like they don't know what ttrpg is or what is the role as a, player or a gm, I thought maybe watching and experiencing how it works makes it easy but I guess watching it enough tips and hearing/reading other peoples advice will help able to play solo it's not easy rather it's challenging. I hope I can be a good solo player enjoying my stories I create and be patience about. Wish me luck.
@@nicolejohntahup5901 Many of my vids demo actual play so you can see how I do things… that is useful to watch too. Bottom line is there is no right or wrong way as long as you are having fun with it.
Hi @nicolejohntahup5901 It looks like Harper’s Quest 2 might be a really good place to start. I’m an experienced role player and I still find the amount of options and resources a bit overwhelming! 😂 Geek Gamers has a great walkthrough.

Nice to see the old crochet needle making an appearance again.
Cool video, and cool game! One that's been in my stack to get to eventually! Love the idea behind it. Mapping is always fun.
Interesting art design on those playing cards.

Dropped 46 seconds ago! Whoot! I've missed your videos. Been going through older ones in the meantime.
Thanks! I've been a bit busy these days with... life... but always happy to do another vid and this game is quite fun.
Quite a unique game, seems it could be used to replace the exploration aspect of some games.
Great video! Love the look of this one! Very much my sort of thing. I'll have to try it out 😃
So glad I found this - thank you for sharing.
It's a fascinating game. I finally sprung for it. LOL I highly recommend Mappa Imperium for a more macro world building equivalent.
Your videos are great. Thanks.
There are so many game books right now! I want this one and others!

This is neat game. Like the uniqueness of it. Thanks for sharing. Glad i stumbled upon it! Great video
Do you have a name/link for your deck of cards?
I second that!
They are an old fantasy themed deck of Bicycle cards. I don’t think they sell them anymore…

Yes they have a surprisingly large number of themed and licensed content decks!
You have a lovely set of cards, Geek Gamers.
That deck of cards looks cool.
thanks for the vid. made me want to purchase the game and check it out. THANKS. BTW link for those cards?
Well done my liege

I feel that it makes map making and/or worldbuilding more difficult. Thus it is a complete waste of time in my opinion.
