Congratulations to Munster. What a season. Nobody gave them a chance after seven games, and they go and win the thing. To all the Munster fans, enjoy the win. Your team was the best team tonight and could have won by a much bigger margin. As a South African rugby fan, I can testify that joining the URC and Heineken Cup is the best thing that could have happened to us. All the tournaments are exciting, and when it comes to the playoffs and finals, anything is possible. In two years of us playing in Europe, I have seen more upsets in semi's and finals than I have seen in all our time in Super Rugby. This rivalry is going to be epic. Luckily, SA rugby has now allowed our teams to increase our player salary cap from, €3.2 million to €4,2 million. Hopefully, we can bring home a few of the 132 South Africans playing in Europe and Japan. To all the Munster fans that visited our beautiful city, I hope you enjoyed it. Munster supporter here who, while obviously savouring this first trophy in a dozen years, appreciates that SA teams have brought much needed competition to the Irish reams that previously dominated the PRO12.

From a Stormers supporter this match was one for the ages and one of if not the best that I have seen in the two seasons that we have been in and probably for seasons to come considering that we are relatively new at the moment. Our boys gave it their all but it just wasn’t enough in the end because Munster kept forcing us to make mistakes while making it possible for themselves to score. Munster were on another level here and managed to pull a rabbit out of a hat and produce a well deserved win so I wish to congratulate Munster again for a very well deserved win!
As a Munster and Ireland fan I am blown away by the gracious response of the SA supporters to this loss. And I have yet to read a comment complaining about the ref - which is so unusual these days. One of the great days. I remember watching Munster-Toulouse back in ‘08 as a (very) young kid. Feels like a lifetime has passed since then. All the heartbreak and the days thinking we’d never be back since then make it all the more worthwhile. Thanks to everyone involved.

Very young kids of seven or so probable had their won children when the All Balcks managed to win their next World Cup, because they now had to contend with the Springboks. Just joking, Enjoy. This Munster season will go down in history as the biggest come back season ever. The Bulls had a very similar journey last season but where they failed against the Stormers in the final Munster didn't.

The headbutt on O'Mahony was missed by everyong and the TV or Ref didn't even bother to look at what happened him. All we saw was POM on the ground and then taken off for a HIA not to return.

The league is really excellent now with the mix of teams in it. The SA teams of as expected have added white amount. Munster pulled off heroic performances the last few weeks winning away to Glasgow, Leinster and Stormers meaning they simply deserve it though Leinster will be kicking themselves. Hopefully the Bok coaches took note of that cross kick that lead to one of the Munster tries. Those, with grubbers, are the one you want to focus on, and not the "up and unders" the Boks use so often, and often just giving away possesion.

Delighted to see from a Leinster fan
The league is really excellent now with the mix of teams in it. The SA teams of as expected have added white amount. Munster pulled off heroic performances the last few weeks winning away to Glasgow, Leinster and Stormers meaning they simply deserve it though Leinster will be kicking themselves. Well done to Munster for an incredible end to the season.
Id love for the URC Channel to have better edited Highlight Videos. So many key moments and replays missing again. Hope you guys publish a Extended Highlight Video!

Was at the game yesterday. Stormers just wasn’t on it and Munster gave them very little wiggle room, while taking all the chances they got. Munster better on the day and great feat to go through all the playoffs away from home. Here’s to next year! Go Stormers!

I mentioned this before on another platform. I live in a different timezone and watch uploaded games. The bummer is that the images on the tiles always give away the winner by either a pic like this (duh) or a image of a team in a dominant position which 10/10 will be the winner. Anyway around this practice?

Solid Munster performance. Has to be a detach in that first maul pushover try but guess no one is policing that anymore.
Very good final on sadly a pretty poor pitch. Munster probably slightly the better side overall so deserved the win. Great to see such a big crowd. South African sides gave greatly improved the URC product. Very competitive league now.
