One idea i liked was an idea Hidden Xperia said in one of his videos was keep infinites multiplayer the main multiplayer and keep improving and adding onto it and do a game like odst where it's a campaign and maybe some pve features and make one of those every 3 years I really like that idea because I love infinites multiplayer have since day one it's a beautiful game but as someone who also loves the campaigns I support Xperias idea
To add on this idea they need to relaunch halo infinite's mp too, with a new name but with all the old and new assets. Halo infinite has a bad taste to it's name
Id love if they made a lot of ODST sized DLC stories to setup the next game, tell us where the Infinity is, the Arbiter(ESPECIALLY PLAY AS HIM ONCE MORE) and play as a spartan who mirrored Spartan Locke so we can have Lock v ONI or rather the guy or gal because you play Crimson team from spartan ops as your Multiplayer spartan on the hunt for Cortana(who on the outside would know she goners) and definitely not just this have your character witness alot like seeing the Spirit of Fire return or a Guardian return when the Banished/Endless have a good chance to wipe out the humans, and its Cortana who summons it with last ounce of power she has from the Domain, still love if my story have Crimson team captured and end up in a high security prison that has a mad scientist Brute that unknowingly has the bits and pieces of Cortana like a life support and the Brute would of gotten further along if Iratus was there(the MP ai voice) and Cortana helps you break out before new torturer comes in to break you and she begins her path to redemption for what she did, bam have the conflict of when she finds out why youre there and she starts out with i cant do it i cant be redeem, i killed a whole planet put everyone under 1 rule that doesnt grant peace she tells you to finish what she started she shouldnt of survived and says im sorry Master Chief(as she no longer feels worthy of sayin his name) but your spartan would be worse than dead without her so she cant be all bad or have it be even more awkward for these 2, your spartan stays silent but has a suit ai that speaks for him and undecidedingly says what your thinking but its also trying to hold distain for Cortana too with Queen of universe dealy 😅 but might get a bit much with having to have a 3rd voice within high tension moments. But dam we need more stories IN GAME STOP GIVING THEM TO THE BOOKS we cant play those or witness the cutscenes 😅
I’m onboard with this. Treat it like MCC except the MP side is one cohesive package. Have Infinite’s campaign be like the Act 1 of a multi-act story, with a new campaign dropping every couple of years or so.
I liked Infinite’s campaign. I don’t want 343 to take Halo in a different direction. We need to see where this story goes. I’d also like remain on instillation 07. The lore has lots of things to explore that the games haven’t shown us yet.
linear. you wouldnt think it but open world felt terrible for a halo type of game. the urgency you feel on a level like two betrayals for example could never be felt in an open world setting. the devs should give us a great narrative that makes sense and give me a linear experience. the scale can be MASSIVE. just would rather it be levels like in every other fps type campaign
Open world will be the way they will go with next halo campaign, it will have linear and open world areas. Halo infinite was going to be 3 times bigger in the open world environments and overall things you could do were going to be very grand but the slipspace engine probably gave them a lot of problems. But with a new engine say maybe unreal engine 5 they will be able to go all in on something in a massive scale with add on dlc stuff as time goes on.
I'd like to see them take the Metro Exodus approach with smaller open-world areas that each have their own missions so we can get a larger scale story and more environments this time. As for the story, I really just want them to focus on bringing Arby into the fold again and having him help Chief defeat the Banished and Endless. Would be really cool to tie Spirit of Fire into the game as well if we aren't getting HW3 too
Every game that has ever launched with the devs saying, “We have a 10 year plan” has failed and never reached that goal. This is why I was extremely skeptical from the beginning with Infinite.

I think for players like me who left in late 2021 or early 2022 after the lackluster opening and returning in 2023, the game has never been better. Also, for new players, the game presents a wide variety of game modes with stellar servers and gameplay. However, for people that are completely burnt out and finally feel like the game is complete, but where it should have been at launch, I can totally understand the frustration
Cyberpunk wasn't complete and cyberpunk since then has been a money maker. I got it when that first came out and now it's been an amazing game. Halo was just to slow to it. Also with MCC out infinite had a tough hill to climb.
I came across a video quite a while back now and cannot remember its title but it talked about the idea of Jerome becoming a new chief and whilst I don't agree with that per say, it could be a fun way of bringing back a kind of halo 3 feel by having Chief and Jerome team up, not sure what that would mean for Alice and Douglas but it could still be quite cool as it would also have story implications, perhaps it would connect to Anders and whatever happened to her.
this game the day they cancel the split screen campain ... this game is dead for me , the franchise to i guess since they did not ad split screen campain in the came since halo reach .. very very sad for this once best fps all time .

It's a good idea. There's nothing that says you need a full fledged multiplayer on each game. Plus it's a lot less work than starting from scratch.

Instead of making next "Master Chief" story they should take a break and give us an ODST/marine story during the battle for the earth 1.

Honestly, 343 made a lot of good steps in the right direction with a infinite I feel like the next one is gonna be pretty good
