Steve it looks great and a lot better than buying one of them high dollar plastic ones. You and your family take care and have a blessed week and see you on your next video.
Sorry, but I have one of them "high dollar plastic ones" on my JD 790 and greatly prefer it over the homemade one in this video. Mine actually keeps rain off of me, if I get caught in a downpour, and it's quite sturdy when doing battle with big tree limbs.
A year ago I would have laughed at someone for buying a Rural King tractor. Today I own one. My son's father in law had just bought a new one when he developed cancer. The tractor had 80 hours on it and he couldn't pay them payments on it so rather than him having to let the bank repossess it or having to have to sell it for less than he owed and still having a payment, I bought it for the payoff. It is the smallest one they make, the RK24. It cost me $15,000 but it has the backhoe attachment. I don't know how bad I got beat but that's not the point. I don't really need the tractor but Mike and Jeanette needed help and that's what I thought would help them the most. My tractor looks almost exactly like yours so I might just build my own canopy. Please make videos of any other modifications you make and I will consider applying them to mine.
Good deed of you buying that to help them out. Mine is 2019 26hp got a loader, tiller, box drag with rippers, 5 foot bush hog. 152 hours 4.5 year factory warranty for 16,000. I'm very pleased with it so far
That’s funny Stevie my son is the exact same way, the other day there was a garden snake sunning itself next to the walkway and I pointed it out to him, he must of jumped 20’ in the air, screamed like a little girl and must of gave that little snake 30 yard leeway, so being the responsible father I am I was nice enough to pick the snake up and yep you guessed it chased him with it….He actually ran in the house and locked the door….
@@stevebillow395 okay thanks My biggest question is how do you straighten out the bar after it gets bent or twisted... heat? I've been using a sledgehammer on a stump but I can't imagine that's the best way to do it.
That looks pretty good stevey. I agree I would put one on the back too.

Shop chicken will tell you, Snakes keep the mice at bay.
You leave him alone, he’ll leave you alone..

Like the canopy.
Iv been told 100 times to let the snakes live but they creep me out and I dont like creepers either
I savy and looks just great buddy lil shade 👍
I agree 100% on the snake. Dead snake is a good snake. On the canopy you will be amazed at how much it will knock the sun off your noggin.
Fabricator Steve is at it again!👍

Hey Stevey 👋
White won't attract heat as much as black does Stevie might keep you cooler if you rattle can the top white. Cheers
Your right about the white but it will work with black
Fella I used to shoe for mounted an old satellite dish on his rake tractor. Poor mans got poor ways but can’t knock it if it works!!
If it works that's all that matters
