      Fish was fine. Plenty of water dips and swam away strong.

      @@randykast87 Right... can always put them back in the net and dip them back in the water in between. Nice catch.

    That's crazy dude, it goes to show how important making those ballsy casts are 😂. A lot of people are too scared to casts baits like that but obviously it pays off BIG

    • @randykast87
      @randykast87  6 років тому +2

      Yep 100%. Once I tie the bait on the line, I treat it like any other bait. Same principle as Mike Gilbert's - consider it gone.

    Love the tagging with a zip tie haha I’ve been doing that with a buddy on our local lake and we’ve already recaught a couple 😂 only like 4.5s tho 🤷🏼‍♂️ still cool to see how they move around

      Randykast well I am trying to carry on the big bait life out here. The rivers are currently frozen. You made a wise choice to move haha

    • @randykast87
      @randykast87  5 років тому +1

      @@ROSSCO7777777 The issue in AZ is that the big bass lakes go through cycles of golden algae bloom where it kills a lot of the fish. Some years are worse than others, and we just had a really bad one last year so the fishing is horrendous at the moment. I still visit Pittsburgh every once in a while; maybe I'll bring my travel rod the next time I go back.
