Beautiful ship - thank you for the tour! Also, I really like the idea of ships being reworked and rejuvenated to sail on to new journeys and ports. That is a wonderful trend. Another very enjoyable video!
Hi Chris another great video, nor travelled on Golden Princess but you can see Pacific Adventure has the bones of the Grand Class of others we've cruised on with Princess and P&O UK. We loved the Sky lounge, it was extra special on our Caribbean Princess cruise, travelling up the escalator in our Wedding outfit with other passengers applauding ❤🎉
The drone footage and the backdrops of Sydney look stunning! The ship itself didn't look as "refurbished" as I thought it would. The theatre looked just the same as when we were on her - but hopefully without all the leaks in the ceiling! 😂
11:23.🤣 it was funny when the lady interrupted the ending. Loved the vid!!!! My cousins are on the Pacific Adventure right now, and my parents want to book on the same ship in 2025, because we want to surprise our grandparents, for my grandpa's 70th b/day!!!!!!!!!🎂 THANKS AGAIN CHRIS
Hello I am a new viewer of your channel. I have been on this ship in March and enjoyed it so much I am booked again in October. Your video was a great refresher, thank you.
I posted this on a previous video but seems more appropriate here, thanks again Chris and we love the podcast too! Thanks for that. I still love the Grand Class Princess ships especially the ones that retained the Skywalker lounge for day time sea -day reading. The deck over the bridge ( not open on all) is also a great place to watch sail-aways and passes thru Panama Canal etc. This ship (formerly Golden Princess ) looks to have had extensive upper deck work though I am not a water slide person :)
This is beautifully presented and the ships interior looks so much better as a P&O ship than it was as Princess. Sad tho to see the Star Trek theme was removed in Altitude. The exterior of this class is very polarising. I like it. My friends do not.
Travelled on this ship when it was the Golden Princess and then again in its new P&O livery. P&O have done a nice job on refurbishing large sections of the public areas however the same can't be said for the cabins. They are really old and tired and desperately need a major upgrade.
I'll never go on this ship for one simple reason - the Byron Beach club reserves WAY too much of the limited outdoor public space for the exclusive use of suite guests.
A very poorly laid-out ship and the obsolete direction signs, which were not updated when they changed the included dining restaurants, do not help. The extra cost pizza offerings looked mean and unappetising, as did the extra cost burgers, neither of which I bothered with. Also, they now charge $9 to get eggs benedict for breakfast in the main dining room.
Very well presented and terrific to see the interior of this ship
Great vid
Booked for September and can't wait!
is September good time for Cruise, how was the climate?
The outside of the ship is giving me shopping cart vibes
They’re known as “shopping carts” as a joke

That sounds like a magical wedding memory!

Were you familiar with her very beige and brown Princess interiors? The ships that you all got, were refinished in stunning ways.
I am really looking forward to my cruise ❤
What ship?
+ when the bell goes off in your outro 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

A fantastic tour.
Glad you enjoyed it
Booked for Feb can't wait!
Ia m going on that shipon Monday
I have a photo from 2016 of when the ship was still named the golden princess. We took the photo right as she was passing under the Golden Gate Bridge

I went on that ship on the 18th and got off on 27th, it’s so beautiful
Hi what is there to do for the kids at the end of the water slide is there pools?
👋 the slides empty out into long pools and then when you exit them you’re on the top deck and can access the pools, or go back up to ride them again.
At 2.30ish you show a pool down under the Byron beach club. Is this pool for anyone to use or only recipients of the BBC ?
Thankyou kindly
is there bars where they showcase AFL/NRL

Hexagons ARE the bestagons!
The refurb was brilliant when I went but the water in the pools and slides was freezing and the food was terrible
Thanks for the info. The slides were a bit chilly on Explorer too! But a lot of fun!
Love P&O curises
It is weird seeing a waterslide on what is essentially a Princess ship.
Those water slides are hard to miss!
Good

It’s only the front bit.
@@GardeningLadybug And a huge pool that should be open for everybody!
There's 2 pools open to public

Nice interior. Ugly exterior. Great tour.
Thanks for the tour. I can see it's not for me though. I find this style of ship very ugly.
