The Bournemouth Bus Rally 2023 at Kings Park, Boscombe (Dorset) Sunday 2nd July

- After 364 days since the last Bournemouth Bus Rally was held, it's back once again from Kings Park, I saw local UA-camrs @MMBaus and his son @MrBusEnthusiast as well as my long term friend @busenthusiastjosh who were also at the bus rally, even had a few people come up to me who feature in this video who have/ watch my videos such as Charlie and his mum and @hellowallace. I had a ride on Old Dennis Dart 465, engine still sounds gorgeous! and also rode on Ex Yellow Buses/ Coaches now with Transpora Volvo B9TL GX09ZZU which has a strong engine for climbing the hills when it used to be in The Isle Of Man.
Put this in your diary: it has already been confirmed the Bournemouth Bus Rally in 2024 is on Sunday 7th July.

Hi Bradley, Looks like a huge rally. I don't know what the single deck buses that I glimpsed at the 11:00 mark are called. But the shape reminds me of the buses that I went to school on about 60 years ago.

Hello Martin. Yes quite a fairly big rally, a variety of different bus makes like Dennis Darts, Leylands, Volvos and Optares. :)
Few fun facts
1. The burrows Volvo was actually on rail replacement before the event as I had it from Eastleigh as they put it on rail replacement to get it into the area.
The transpora yellow bus was owned by Xela bus before transpora
And finally the red Dennis Dart was owned by Plymouth bus until being sold to a preservation group in Chichester

Yes, there were a variety of buses which turned up at the rally, I quite like Scania buses because of the loud air horns but at the same time I like Volvo B9TLS because of it's strong engine power. :)

Thanks Matt, I loved every second of the Bus Rally and I know you and Tyler did. I love Tyler's 465 boys saying, I'm glad Tyler liked seeing his clip in my video, Josh wasn't taking the mickey to be nasty it just makes me and Josh giggle when Tyler says 465 boys, bless him. :)

Nope, the Bournemouth bus rally is free, it is a free event. By the way UNWILD no longer exists mate, very sadly UNWILD Crew went bust back in 2021, covid was part of the reason why the crew broke up. :(

How often does the Bournemouth bus rally happen?
Every year the Bournemouth Bus Rally is held, it used to be held round June but moved it to July, obviously there wasn't a bus Rally in 2020 and 2021 because of the Covid Pandemic but make a date for the 2024 Bournemouth Bus Rally if you can make it... Sunday 7th July 2024 at Kings Park ( near AFC Bournemouth Stadium) 10:00AM to 17:00PM. :)
