My late grandfather from my father's side was an Indian Muslim. My grandmother was his 2nd wife. All my step uncles & aunties can speak Tamil. My late father & his siblings dont speak a single word of Tamil because my grandfather died when they were little. Ruginya.. Kalau tak, boleh berbahasa Tamil juga. Tambah 1 bahasa. Kalau nak belajar bila da dewasa susah sikit.. Kalau Dr kecik senang.
I remember almost every 7pm decades ago, I always heard my neighbor shouting
"Thambi! Kadavule! Ni engga po! ** something in Tamil ** romba rangi! romba rangi ** along with some slapping sound **..."
and that agony cry started...XD

It's just God.. "Ayyo Kaduvuley" means Oh God.... Nothing to do with name of God, it's common expression in all religion for those speak Tamil.
