Hi again guys!!
Last weekend I headed up to north Wales again to have a little explore and wild camp in the Rhinog mountains.
We had a good days hike up to the summit of Rhinog Fawr where we managed to find a nice sheltered spot to pitch up just below the 720m summit.
This was my first wild camping trip where I've had a chance to use my new Hilleberg Soulo tent, and to be honest it was overkill for the conditions, had a perfect night for camping, so calm and still.
The next morning saw some wild swimming in Llyn Du and a waterfall before heading back home.

I found your channel thanks to Claire as well ! I'm a fellow climber. 30+ years of wilderness experience. I enjoy your videos so far, I would love to try and hike in uk's forgiving wilderness for a change but that is a dream and an ocean away from me. Beautiful nature you guys have access to. I like your spirit, I respect eveything you do and I will take time to watch a lot more of your videos in a near future. I am autistic, your spirit and videography helps me. I have fallen ill for a little bit over 2 years. Claire's videos helped me survive this ordeal, I miraculously healed and I can happily say that I'm back in good enough shape to restart all my outdoor activities. 1 week expedition planned in june to slowly get back into business, I will try this time, to enjoy life a whole lot more while doing it, like you guys. This will be a new way for me, thank you very much for sharing.

Ash Outdoors UK - tarp tent couldn't have been that good....how come Claire had taken the pole out overnight, or did it fall down on it's own 😖?
Oh no it was proper sturdy. She just wanted the bivvy experience but also wanted the option of a shelter if the wether were to turn👍🏼

Superb Ash. Good vibes on the mountain mate. I've been passed the Rhinogs a number of times and have always wanted to hike and camp there - yet to do that/I've been exploring the rivers but have done that now. Great summit camp - we don't always get the views but heck aint it nice to be out. A tip on the language - been hiking Wales for decades and I have learnt that Fawr is pronounced vower and Ddu is dee. Hope that helps. Just been camping myself if interested - no obligation of course. Well, good going. Mark

We were so lucky with the views Friday that the white out wasn’t the end of the world. Was a cracking little trip!

Found your channel after accidentally finding and binging all of Claire's videos and gotta say, y'all are both legendary. Both of you have such wonderfully positive energy and have given me such inspiration to get back out into nature (its been a rough year tbh and motivation was at an all time low) so thank you for that.
