- Welcome, this is my first video off my most recent cruise aboard Wonder of the Seas! This show is unique but it is an entire musical production made completely BY THE USE OF VOICE AND TECHNOLOGY no, instruments. I enjoy it. Also, I'm knocking out the easy first, the ones that don't take much editing like this one, then my fun Honest Review and full ship tour will be coming shortly after.
I have so many videos coming from this cruise, probably close to 30 and they will all be unique so I hope you all enjoy it. Also I took a few requests while I was onboard as I always have the internet package, so please if you have any requests for my next cruise which is 30 days away in Alaska aboard Quantum of the Seas, LET ME KNOW! I really enjoyed this show. I thought it would sound similar to a standard acapella but it literally felt and sounded like a normal stage production with instruments. It's wild how they pulled it off. I hope you enjoy this video. I have about close to 30 more videos coming soon including my much anticipated "Honest Solo Cruise Documentary #6 aboard Wonder of the Seas", hopefully coming by next weekend. Probably the best Royal show I have seen in a long time. Saw the show 6 times on board between April 8th and May 4th.
I enjoyed it as well. It was very unique compared to other cruise ship shows.
Thanks a 1,000,000 for recording this show. It was by far one of the highlights of my recent Dec 2022 bday cruise. I was blown away by the simplicity yet appropriate production design, lighting, and sound quality and all sung a cappella! It could’ve been over produced but instead it was appropriately designed and well executed. All of the singers -but most definitely the vocal band, and without a doubt the stage vocalists- were phenomenal. The dancers were a wonderful compliment too. I really appreciated the diversity of the entire cast!!! The song selections and arrangements were well thought out too! I can’t say enough great things about this show (I had to see it twice!) #RoyalCaribbean definitely brings their A-game to stage production performances and this was by far their best work!!!!
You're welcome! On our cruise, it was still considered to be in technical rehearsal. They canceled it the first night so I was concerned I wouldn't be able to see it. But I agree, the show was spectacular. The effects, the vocal music, the dancing everything was top-notch.
I’m glad that you did too. On my cruise, I noticed that some of the singers and dancers were different but the performers were equally fantastic. Thx again!!!
Wow! This makes me want to give Royal Caribbean a try even more now! My biggest gripe about the entertainment on Carnival is how the singers all sing in a different note with little to no harmony. These folks, on the other hand, sound dang good with great harmony!
Yea there entertainment is next level. I used to be happy on what was offered on NCL but Royals showed are the best in its class.

They had a CD available for purchase after the show but I'm not sure if it's online. It was so good!

I have no idea. Sometimes they'll show up in the comment sections of my videos but none yet for this performance.
@@MrBucketlist Thanks anyway. I asked on the ship and they said they couldn't reveal it which was weird as every show anywhere has a cast list
And now my question has been answered as to what is happening with the Hollens duo +2. Ship life endures.
I wanted to know who the blonde guy dancer and the Asian one with a pony tail is … they so pretty lol
Personally I’d rather see the stages used for the Broadway productions like on some other ships … yes they have pretty voices but it just reminds me of “up up with people “ if you recall that from the 1980’s .
It will be honest. It is one of the less quality shows from Royals' usual original productions, but it was unique. The 80s are little before my time.

Although I am deaf this play really taught how different voices bring together one song
I always find RCL shows very professional, but this show was bad. And we're surprised that everyone else is hyping it up so much. It had no concept, the singers were just ok. Sorry.
