Egg white - 1 pcs
Sugar - 250 g + 50 g powdered sugar
Agar - 5 g
Water - 70 ml

Can l use this recipe for zefir flowers?

You can add a few drops of food coloring immediately after adding the syrup.
You can't reheat zephyr mass in the microwave!
If the mass has hardened, it will not be possible to soften it.

I make it but after 3 days in cold weather still sticky…why? Hope somebody can help me, thank you!
Marshmallows can become sticky from high humidity in the room. It is better to store it at room temperature in a box with a tight lid.

If the zefir does not keep its shape, it may still be warm (you need to whisk a little more) or agar-agar is not strong enough

In my country no one has made it. I'm so interest with russian zefir especially for flowers bouquet zefir :D

Apples in the oven for 40 minutes at 200 C + 10-15 minutes without peel. Roses should be dried without an oven at room temperature for 10-12 hours

What can I do if I don't obtain agar agar?
Only agar-agar is needed, it cannot be replaced, the recipe will not work without it.

El puré de frutas necesita 125 gramos en todo momento y debe ser espeso. No he probado a cocinar con parchita, ni siquiera sé a qué sabe.😔

What is agar?
Agar-agar is a vegetable substitute for gelatin. You can buy it in a pastry shop.
How if not use apple?
Apples are absolutely necessary, without them the recipe will not work. On the channel you can find a recipe with berries or pumpkin.
Thank you..i tried to make but not smooth.. the colour of the apple geting dark. Make the meringue not white..do u know why?

What can I sub for agar? Would xanthan gum or gelatin or pectin work?
In this recipe, agar-agar is needed and nothing can replace it. Without agar, zephyr will not work.

I'm genuinely curious... but also don't have agar! Plenty of gelatin & xanthan though!
@@nikkit3353 agar sets on ambient temperature. Nor gelatin or xantan can do the same. Also, agar forms stronger bonds than gelatin.
It is a bit tricky to find agar here, so believe me, I tried.
