@@nancyfarkas3592 I have to agree . I am also a bit fed up of messier UA-camrs saying “ real life mess “ .It’s your real life mess and that’s perfectly fine but some people are naturally very tidy and clean so their their real life is different and that’s ok too. Messy or tidy it’s real life to whoever lives there .

This is the first video I felt like I could totally relate too. It seemed like you had a lot going on, not everything going as planned, many projects, Lowe's trip with husband, finding joy in the teapot at the restaurant, chiropractor, massage and making sourdough starters....literally all the exact same things going on in my home. You still handle everything with joy, patience and laughter. You always look for the positive. I get very frazzled. You set a beautiful example of how to navigate daily life when it gets super crazy busy. Thank you for showing real life so beautifully.💜

Let me say from someone who has been canning in my home off and on for forty years, and spent my childhood summers helping with canning you are doing amazing. It was how we ate in the winter. If seasoned canners are honest we all have our hiccups with canning throughout.
This makes my heart so happy just to see young ladies learning to can.
You are doing great! Made this old heart of mine smile to see you not give up.

Love your heart. For future reference, never soak your beans in the jar, they set up like concrete. Soak overnight in water only in a large bowl if you choose. I do not soak my beans when I can them. I add 1 cup dry beans to 1qt jar and 1/2 cup dry beans to pint jars. Fill with water (cold water, cold canner or hot water, hot canner) and PC 90 min/qts and 75 min/pints. They always come out perfect. Canning definitely is a learning curve. Don't give up, just a bump in the road.

Hey there! You are so busy busy... my mama use to make a crockpot of soup for my younger brothers every week when they were in school.. It was never the same but it was always yummy... she would use all the leftovers corn ,beans, tators, anything and everything that was leftover from like the weekend.. if too much leftovers she would freeze and add to it during the week. It could be brothy or creamy.. I just know that my brothers loved it for after school.. it was filling and yummy.. and a surprise everytime.. what an fun adventure... I enjoy your videos.. I love the fact that you are down to earth.. take care!

Oh dear, I only put 1 cup dry beans in each quart. I followed Jessica's method as well and I'm pretty sure she does 1/4 to 1/3 full, but I find 1 cup is perfect.

I can not wait until you get your new kitchen. Your kitchen is cramped with all the things and I know it would drive me crazy so my heart goes out for you. I have a very small kitchen and it is cramped too but my family has 3 people so I can not imagine it with all of you guys. 🙃

When you got the Facebook message I checked mine because my family is dealing with something and keeping me in the loop. So thank you for explaining it was yours.

I wish I had your energy/motivation. I’m a mom of many and I’m so drained and mentally frustrated. It’s a hurdle I know, but you inspire me w the love and compassion you approach your family with.

Don’t have time to read the chat but when I can dried beans I don’t go through many hoops. I sort and wash the beans. Put them in a jar and depending on the size (smaller beans don’t take as much water as larger beans) I put raw beans in and fill with water. For example: navy beans I do about 3/4 full of beans and do 15 min at 10# pressure. Kidney beans I do 1/2 full of beans at the same time/pressure. No need to soak and precook. This is what has worked for me. The times are for pint jars.
