24:59 - your excitement at the first space science packs is a delight to behold. :) Kudos! You made it to space! And made SCIENCE! 🥳 Now to figure out where all that space science (and asteroid chunks) got off to. ;)
"Not enough to fill one rocket." Ok, this took me forever to figure out, but basically, the auto-shipping system will try to make sure every rocket is full before sending stuff up. It's an efficiency thing I guess. However, this means you can only ever send up 1 type of item automatically, and it'll try to fill the rocket up with just that item. There is an option to bypass this though. Spend a little time exploring your rockets and cargo hub logistics menus and you'll find it. It allows for more specialized quantities of stuff to be sent to space. Really nice when you just need that odd one or two things to complete a build and you don't want to wait for your base to slowly build up the necessary whatsits to fill a full rocket. Took me a few dozen hours, literally, to figure this out lol
As a hint, try getting rid of all power poles and substations and see what happens. :-) Another hint, how do you think a solar panel would work in space? Can you think of any differences between how it would work in space and on the ground? Have you tried hovering your mouse over your solar panels? Another question to ask yourself... how do you think the stuff is getting to your space platform? Also, what do you think would happen if you had an inserter that inserted things into space?
i don't want to spoil anything but you may be missing something that the tutorial tips/tricks that unlock at each section would tell you--are you avoiding those on purpose to figure it out on your own?
if you don't know what something do then try alt+left click on that. This open in game help window
Said in the Muppets voice over "pigs in space" … "Poobers in Space…" Excellent sleuthing worth there,

I think I know which option you're referring to. There's another way, as well. :)
space platforms is where being able to spaghetti really pays off
Yup! 23:40 captures it well. :)
I also had a problem with power :)

Haha, nicely vague on most of that.
*waves vaguely to the Pacific Northwest* [which has a double meaning, in this particular comment thread.] :D
