it's really not about luck to get zanmato, you need to build up a good bond between yojimbo and yuna, pay him good and dont let him die and you get easier zanmato.
@@COOLGAMER-wp8xt I don't know it true or not, Yojimbo had high chance to cast Zanmato if u just hire him with original price. Because the 1st time I summoned him in HD remaster version , he automatic cast Zanmato, and the rest he cast Kozuka or Wakizashi automatic before asking me to pay. I think people complain about Yojimbo doesn't cast Zanmato because they hired Yojimbo with discounted price and he felt dishonored.
@@jwchow4947 i've hired him with original price aswell and got zanmato but when i used him alot and paid him good i mostly get zanmato for free like 75% of the time without paying him, and i dont think that is luck because not many people get zanmato for free without paying. and there is always something with how you pay him cuz if you pay him good then he noods and does a good attack but if u pay him bad then he wont use zanmato, so it's mostly about something and i think it's because what i mentioned earlier in my past comment
@@COOLGAMER-wp8xt Zanmato isn't impossible to get and he functions quite like a pokemon does, has a happiness/bond stat that improves when you use him right and dont let him die. Consistent Zanmato's is pretty enjoyable though.
Zanmato the most broken attack in recent memory. Kills anything in one hit as long as you treat Yojimbo like a good merc should. If you abuse Zanmato, you didn't earn any of those victories.
Rather, the most broken attack is Sin’s overdrive since it instant game overs you if he uses it. And if you cheat the game to get an item that lets you use it, well, instant win lol.
I was able to defeat Seymour Flux using every Aeon over drive plus Riku's overdrive Flash Flood and I use a decent amount of Gil. This is the first time I've seen Yojimbo is he only in the remake or is he in every version of FFX. What I mean is he on the PS2 version?
He is a special optional Aeon you get from the Cavern of the Stolen Fayth. The only catch is you need a fuck ton of Gil to get him, a minimum of 194000 if you haggle him down right. That instant KO move makes him completely worth it though.
Yes. He’s on ps2 version. It’s not anything added. 7 year old me knew about yojimbo. He’s a secret Aeon in the cavern of lost souls I believe is the name of the location. It’s a little side area before mt gagazet
@@captainhaire aww that’s right! I’m currently playing FinalFantasy 10 as we speak and I must say I enjoyed playing FF7 and FF15 way more than I do this game! I hate random encounters and I also hate the progression system in 10! I think I might stop playing it and just wait for 16 to come out since I like real time combat better than turn based RPG’s! I hate grinding and having to look up tutorials on how to do stupid puzzles in this game not to mention looking up tutorials on how to beat FF bosses! I didn’t need to do this for FF15 or FF7 because those games in my opinion were easier to beat! I didn’t have to grind as much! I only beat FF7 and FF15 and I’m definitely getting FF16 when it comes out! But I don’t think I’ll play the older ones since they are probably similar to 10 being Grindy and turn based lol 😂 not to mention they take FOREVER to beat! Why is FF10 soooo long ! @@OrganizationXIII It’s an JRPG, expect grinding. JRPG’s usually take a long time to beat, X was only 8 hours ahead of VII, it’s not too long. I’m worried on how you survived Final Fantasy VII due to it being turn based lol. You don’t need to search up guides to beat puzzles and bosses, you can also do it yourself. But i feel bad now since you won’t get to experience FF6 and FF9, but no hard feelings, have a good day.
false. yojimbo isnt 100% reliant on gil. its also reliant on a whole point system based on wich moves he used previously and what happened to him. good move= more points. bad moves = points deducted. dismiss without being useful or just dying is also points deducted. the more points means higher chance of zamnato along witb more gil and grand summon.
My view of Zanmoto is it should be used as a last resort. This game is so good and going right to that move deprives you of so many good fights. Losing and making adjustments to beat harder bosses makes this game fun
The objective is to kill the boss. Doesn't matter how you get there. And anyone who has played this game knows damn well Seymour Flux deserves every single Zanmato coming to them.
Depending how much money you give Yojimbo he'll do an attack that one hits any enemy in the game. So the more money you give him the higher the chance he'll do that attack.
Janine Rose Not quite. You just have to be lucky. Paying him well does increase Yanmato Odds, but being in overdrive also helps a lot. With Overdrive and a high enough affection level, sometimes he will do Zanmato with only 1 gil. Also, when his affection level is hogh enough, there’s a chance he will use it outright without ever giving you the opportunity to pay him.
Love that you can here yojimbo discarded scabbard hitting the ground
Wow amazing. Never knew that could world. I struggled with this fight years ago… gosh

Zanmato always does automatic death to anyone no matter what but u need to get lucky and I used that move to kill all dark aeons
@Vova Syhin I chose option one and have never had to use all my money to use zanmato, paid 100 before and got zanmato.

Thanks so much. I had to pay a little more also that aeon resets its overdrive. Maybe an update or something.
Just came across this video. Super amazing fight.

Work smarter not harder is what you did
You gave him 16,500 you Grand Summon him and Seymour is weak his odds are about 63%
1st thing you do is have haste and bio and keep switching...

How long ago is all this yr stream is different now
Sometime in March 2014. So it's been a year since then and my channel has really progressed forward :)
AshBashS_ ya i switched to greenscreen also
Haha good ol Zamato
Another question every time I fight Seymour Flux he always get's the first turn, how come u act first?
Agility is probably higher.
Yer agility sucks bro pfft on my first ever play through I had Lulu/ auron/ Tidus first for hastega and lulus natural agility.
You have to modify Yunas rod with strike first
When he shakes his head Yes😂😂😂
it worked !!!!!
Grand Summon
Always give him 400,000
Going by HP
Im a High roller so he Loves me😂😂😂😂😂😂
Zanmato is OP
Wait how did you get that aeon
You find him in the "Cavern of the Stolen Fayth" and from there you have to pay him money for him to join your aeon.
Hacked the game

the Zanmato is a instant death for an enemy but yojimbo only uses it if you play him enough

NeoArashi how do you get his affection up, i just got on seymour flux and kind of stuck
