I’ve been looking at buying one of those tarps, very cool set up!
Are. Ya sure that your not to long for that overhang
The fact you have to setup the camera(s) multiple times then go back to retrieve it in order to get the shots of you walking thru the forest doesn't go unnoticed. Thanks for putting in the work to make these relaxing videos!
Its loads of work but I love it
Any camera man there?
No, I film everything on my own
Wow! This is the first video of yours where I was actually concerned for your safety. Sleeping under a canopy during a snow storm (in Canada!) seems more like survivalism than a recreational cold weather camping trip. If anyone could pull it off, it’d be you; but it just didn’t look like much fun. If I could not feel my fingers burning then that would be the time to find a Motel 6. Great video. 🙂
It was cold but I loved it
I work 2 FT jobs and build a house in my free time. I very much miss my outdoor time. I can't thank you enough my friend for providing us with these little escapes.
A cold breakfast for winter camping! Half the fun of camping is cooking a nice breakfast! I admire you being out in that open shelter. Takes guts.
It was so much fun 🤙
I'm a firm believer in having the next fire ready. If I were you, knowing full well that I needed to start a fire the next morning, I would have it prepped and ready even before sleeping for the night. Always two steps ahead.
I agree, and I prep morning fire only when sleeping without any shelter
@@Lonewolfwildcamping ❤🎉
...outstanding video. I love being out there in the nasty weather!
I love how you appreciate the beauty of nature.
Its a blessing. I love the wild 🌲⛺
Absolutely a no go way of winter camping for me! An enclosed tent w a stove and a floor at least half way is a must. Cant even say I admire your grit, because in those conditions and being wet for hours is something I would never do nor recommend. And that morning snow inside... even less!
Its definitely not for everyone
Glad to see you using one of your signature tarps. Would like to see you use them more often.
Thanks
You are a brave man camping without a full tent. The scenery is beautiful.
Thank you😁
Just started watching your channel about 2 months ago awesome channel very informative and you seem like down to earth person.
Thank you very much
I don’t think I’ve seen you build a shelter in the field for a while, mostly tent videos. Great design, you definitely have a mind for creating things and the craftsmanship to put it together. Heat plus open view shelter, really nice. Easy in and out too
Thank you, this video link will explain my chsnge to tent and top shelters. ua-cam.com/video/08uYldUEWws/v-deo.html
Beautiful snow. 😍
Another great video, thank you! I really like the fact that weather doesn't bother you... rain, snow, wind... learning tips on how to make camping work in any weather condition. Recently watched one of your truck camping videos and one about your bus renovation. You never stop impressing me! Thank you for sharing all of this!
That frozen lake is beautiful as well as that location is also beautiful very beautiful and the snow is beautiful too it looks cold 🥶 there too at that location
Beautiful but omg...its been awhile since I was in snow, but do remember snow storms for sure. Another great vid!
Oh dear, it looks like a very hard night! I can feel it!
There's nothing better to warm a body up than a HOT cup of tea, I'm so glad you enjoyed your adventure and stayed warm overnight enjoy watching your videos very much. Seems so peaceful to just escape from the everyday stress for a bit, you have EXCELLENT survival skills
Thank you
Truly enjoy your videos. I love the warm and Cosy atmosphere even though it’s very cold🤗🤗🤗🤗
I don't tent camp anymore, but my son still does. Your videos help with giving advice and ideas to him. Not to mention, your videos are a joy to watch. Thanks for the great videos.
Wow, you are really testing the environment! I really enjoy watching this while I'm tucked inside my warm bed 😁.
Thank you
That is a nice shelter, would be great for summer camping where I go camping. Personally wouldn't want to use it in anything colder than -1. Which I get, even in the middle of summer.
It is an amazing shelter in all 4 seasons
Im not sure what you do for a living, but it shows in every video that you have some great work ethic and drive. Keep up the AMAZING quality work and be safe out there brother.
Thank you, I am a film maker
Love the videos. You inspired me to buy the Pomoly stuff. I am enjoying that too. Safe and happy camping!
Awesome 😁💪
Been following your videos for quite some time now. Watching your videos feels like myself camping out there. Nice work. Cheers from India.
Thank you, im glad i could share with you
that looked seriously cold .... it's so easy to forget that type of cold when you are at home sitting in the living room. awesome morning though - what a beautiful sight. fantastic!
Definitely cold out 🥶❄
Unlike the camp under the stars in wintertime of last week, this tarp is more my jam! Looks nice and toasty. Also, I love Andy from Kent Survival, but he *will* unroll his sleeping bag too early! It was Canadian Girl Guides that showed me to wait to unroll until you're ready to get in-even in summer-Really appreciate that you did not unroll your bag, as you are watched my so many. (For those who might not know, In the summer, dewfall can get into your bag, making it chilly as the temperature drops. That means it's more work to get it to a comfy temp. Also, If it's sunny the next day, hang it out until it is warm and dry, then roll it tightly until bedtime. If you did it right, it will still be warm!)
Thanks, really glad you enjoyed the adventure
oh wow, a full hour of this is just a great way to end my day; it looked like a tough one at the beginning but then, as you said, this is your kind of weather so I'm sure you enjoyed it
very nice to see the tarp instead of the hot tent, mixing up things
Thanks alot for enjoying
Whoa! Now here is an unfriendly environment! Keep those fires burning, and enjoy!
Very nice 😊 well done for braving the cold in that much of snow , the sunrise was stunning , thank you
Thank you
Awsome winter tarp camp , I thoroughly enjoyed it
Thanks
All that fake snow looks amazing. I hope you paid your assistants enough gummy bears for this. 😁 You're so lucky to have such amazing places to do this. It's amazing how snow makes things look that extra magical.
Thanks for enjoying
Great work and adventure!
Thanks Jeremy! 🎬👍🏻🎖
Really enjoyed this, probably one of my favorite snow/tarp videos yet. I would love to camp out in weather like that.
Thanks so much
Well Jeremy I admire your tenacity and resolve to sleep under a tarp shelter. I watched a Russian guy sleep in a Russian bear tent with stove, cot, table and chair. That would be my choice personally. On that note, I am crawling in under the blankets now in our bed and cuddling up to momma...will be -20 tonight. That is plenty cold enough for me now.
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
I somehow missed this one the first time around and it's one of my favorites. There's a sense or urgency to prepare in the midst of the snow. Especially given the open tarp. Such good shooting and editing. Mesmerizing.
Getting me excited for winter camping! I appreciate you pointed the side glass on the stove to us :)
Thank you
Thanks a lot for this video with bad weather conditions🥶. Your knife for splitting wood is amazing🤩 I want the same😉
Thanks for enjoying
Love all that snow that was alot of snow and wind. I appreciate you filmed the night for as long as you could safely. Thanks for another awesome camp.
Thank you
All my respect !!! thank.you for sharing your adventures in frezeen temperatures 😳❄❄❄.
🤙❄🇨🇦⛺🌲
Dude by far the best shelter and set up. Again. LOVE the content you are making .
Thanks so much
Love the design of your tarp - very functional for this set up.
Thank you
Thank you for bringing us to camp. When I'm watching your beautifully made videos it always makes me happy.
Glad you enjoyed
Why do i want to all of a sudden go snow camping? I live in FL. It was 46F yesterday and i about died.. lol. New subscriber... binging on these masterpieces he is putting out!
Wow! Outstanding !!! You put together a great video … knowing how one has to get all the shots coming and going !!!!
And … in a winter storm in a tarp shelter!!! That has to give incentive …. Knowing one can absolutely survive !!
God bless you !
Thank you very much
I really dig your vids mate. So much effort from you putting these together. These totally relax me watching them. Thanks.
I don't live there anymore but I grew up in Canada and I know how harsh the winter can be up there. The fact that you camp out in these conditions and put in all the work of filming everything on your own really shows your passion, skill and dedication. Really love your videos, keep up the great work!
Your noodle dish looked fantastic. We try to take really, really good food with us when we go for an adventure!! We will usually take our first night's supper from home...and usually it is something that would be a total pain in the butt trying to make it while camping...goulash (American chop suey), beef stew, a spaghetti sauce, etc. etc. And we always try to take something for a snack that works while out...hot dogs, smores, sausages, all stuff that is better being cooked over a fire. My wife is a breakfast wizard when camping...omelettes, biscuits n gravy, baked beans with ham n home fries etc. And we hardly ever take plain old bread...biscuits or yeast rolls for us!! Anyway, I'd love to see you and Kendra do a video dedicated to awesome cooking while camping!! Thanks and keep those great videos coming!!
😁😁😁😁😁😁
Yay, always brightens my day when your new video pops in my notifications, I know I’m going to get some escapism and mindfulness. Thank you Jeremy! 😘🙏🏻
You're a brave man to go so minimal in such an extreme condition. 🥶 I love that plow point tarp of yours. 👍🏻😎
Thank you
What a night that must've been!!
Amazing
I really like the concept of the shelter. In Norwegian we would call this a “Gapahuk” - a gaping shelter or “gaping hug (or love)”. We use this a lot, often made from canvas, branches of fir, or timber. Usually you would heat this with a fire outside the shelter, but with a stove jack it is just perfect…
Gaping has a different meaning here in the US Google gaping and find out?
@@velomobileusa8293 I know what gaping is...lmao
👆🏾🤣don't do it
I love watching your videos but why don't you bring in a stump to sit on out of the wind and snow. I know you are smart so please don't freeze on our account. I'd say stay warm but we all know that won't happen. Always bring an extra tarp..
Simply amazing vid again Jeremy. I can't beleave you weathered that massive storm in just a canvas tarp. I tip my hat to you sir! Keep up the awesome quality and amazing adventures. Look forward to the next one! Cheers👍
Thanks, it was super fun
Wow, Jeremy...from a wood cathedral short bus vid, then to an extreme snowy cold tarp! Great vid as usual.
Thanks so much, good to mix things up 🙌
Loved the short bus video. I think we really got to see a side of his personality not normally seen. Would love to know just how many kids he has.
Hey LW! Love the cinematic relaxing vids, very enjoyable 👌
Thank you
Hi Jeremy, just said I watched it for three times. In order to edit this video, you shoot it in different viewpoints in this cold and snow day. It's very hard and difficult. We loved and enjoy it. 🥰👋
Thank you very much
Nothing helps kick the covid blues like a new video. Great job as always.
Thanks for enjoying
I hear you! Getting over the shit my damn self!
Fuuuck...
Getting out and hot tenting truly helps the blues.
Man I love that set up. Beautiful views as well...
😁👍
Absolutely beautiful location to camp.
Thank you
J, absolutely insane experience and love the sunrise view at the end!!
Thanks!
Thanls alot
Wow a beautiful scenery. Cold and wet and I bet it felt good to get warm and dry. Great camping and video as usual. God’s blessings
Thank you very much ❄🌲
Wolfie I don’t know how you do it but these adventures & videos just keep getting better & better, thank u 10/10👍🎯🇨🇦
Thanks so much
Very beautiful but very cold. Looks like a great shelter. I remember snow and rain freezing my forehead while walking to and from work. Very beautiful. Thank you.👍👍😳.
Thanks so much for enjoying
Wow how blessed are you to live such a peaceful life 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 another relaxing video😌
Thank you very much
Thank You Jeremy for another awesome video 💯👍
😄🙌
It was a beautiful video with all that snow!!!! Thanks for sharing and glad you didn't freeze too much!! Beats bugs anyday LOL
Thank you
Love these videos. Being warm despite the elements whilst being close to them is a comforting, reassuring feeling. I sometimes wake in the night and thinking about this send me back to sleep.
Really happy you enjoyed it
Me too James. I started watching at bedtime and snuggled in a warm bed. I awoke a few hours later and it made me stoke my own fire here at home to stay warm
A whole hour! I'm gonna enjoy this! :)
Enjoy it ❄🙌
That is hardcore winter camping with the open tarp like that. Hope you kept that fire burning through most of the night.
Thanks alot
You’ve been staying busy that’s for sure ,that was a great video ty for bringing us with you.
Thanks alot
Hi Wolf you're great! I'm still catching up on your videos...
It's great to see this one at this moment 👍 I've personalized my AliExpress tarp with a jack too 😅
Ok, you can afford to make it 'proper'! But I'm sure you agree that half of the fun it's DIY 😉 you DIY great stuff and that's what it makes it so special 👍 priceless!
I'm a broke/unemployed 'shelter addict' that cannot 'stand still'😳 Great to know that there're people like you, even they might be in the other side of the world! Watching your videos it's a great therapy, thanks 💯
Keep them coming 😀
How did I miss this? Thought I caught every video of yours.Glad the algorithm made it pop up. This is one of your very best pieces of work: beautifully filmed, great editing, and super venue. Long may you wave!
So used to you drinking coffee, it was odd seeing you drink tea😂 As a tea lover, I approve! Crazy adventure. Was totally worried about you with the open side of the shelter in that weather. Stay safe! Thanks for another great video🏕❄⛄
Thanks so much, both tea and coffee are enjoyable
I love that shelter with the wood stove Jeremy. Looks like it worked well. I just received my stove hut today and can’t wait to try it. Test run tomorrow
It was awsome, everything went so well
Amazing brother💯👍🏻beautiful scenery great video nice setup ⛺️looks like it was a cold one 🥶🥶❄️
Thanks 😊❄🙌🌲
I really enjoy your videos! What great gear we have today! I “hot tented” yearly in the 70’s and 80’s for two weeks in the UP MI., between Christmas and New Years holiday. All army surplus equipment and it weighed in at 1000 lbs! Thinking seriously about gearing up for a winter camping trip to celebrate my 70th birthday! Really great entertainment great cameraman! Thanks for sharing! Been wanting to ask about your wool hoodie and now I Know! Been watching eBay and thrift stores for something similar. Exploring making an anorak from wool army blanket! Now curious about your choice of boots! I just ordered Steger Mukluks and snowshoes! 70 going on 13! 😉👍
🤙👍🌲❄
Great comment. I’m also 70 and today I received my pomoly stove hut and stove hoping to get out for the weekend.
With and open ended tent like this, would it be more efficient to have a long fire across the front with a good reflector wall? I love watching your videos and learning, but I couldnt help but think that stove was more of a hassle... Keep em coming sir, your videos are a great escape for me❤️😎
Thanks for enjoying, I stay warm with my sleeping bag. Fire would melt it
Great video and just seeing all of that snow has me wanting a cup of coffee!
Cheers ❄☕🌲
Here you go, Jeremy! Amazing, stunning, astonishing, awe-inspiring, stupendous, staggering, extraordinary, magnificent, spectacular, out of this world and even bad ass! Hope this helps. 😁
💪🤙🤣 I love it
What a great looking shelter! Awesome video!
Thank you
Great vid. I've never been a winter camper, but you're inspiring me. Also learning a lot. Thanks!
Thank you
Very interesting tarp design. I am very interested to see how well it works in a snow storm. Ron Pullen
Thank you
I’m very impressed by the multiple angles taken. It must take a while, setting up the shot, performing the task, and moving onto the next one, all in the snowy weather. Do you use more than one camera?
Thanks, its alot of work but well worth it, 1 camera
cắm trại ngày tuyết ntn tuyệt vời quá ạ.😀
Ahoj pěkné zimní video 👍🌲🌳🙂🐺
Great video! I knew you we're going start the new year dropping jaws ... And whelp you did. Keep them dropping brother nothing stopping you.
Really glad you enjoyed it
Beautiful photography! Amazing video!
Tanks for enjoying
Hardy Winter Outing This 1 Was, Much Enjoyed, Thanks " J " ATB T God Bless
Thank you
That is interesting set up. I like the way it’s like open teepee.
Snow storm in the woods❤
Thanks for inviting us along . This was magical and courageous at the same time!
Thanks so much
Could you, in short, explain the practical side of this shelter? I'm not as experienced, and I've been trying to wrap my head around it lol. Thanks!
Its a tarp that is made for outdoors men and women who want a more open experience with nature and not forced to be confined by walls
Lucky to find a pre-split log that just needed to be sectioned up. 👍
Definitely, lots of wood left over from logging industry
I found your channel last night.Im so glad I did I love camping.
This makes me hope you were warm enough rhrough the night. I would have loved to hear that you had enough wood to stoke the firebox at least 2 more times throughout the night to keep warm
I like it better when you camp alone or with Boomer. Thus Lonewolf. This camp setup would be a definite no for me especially in the winter. Kudos for your effort.
Waw that wood was looking special with all that snow. Must have been proper freezing well done sir...🏕🏕👍
Thanks alot for enjoying
On your tarp design.....maybe strap or web handles on the sides to make shaking snow off easier? Just a thought.
Exciting video and the atmosphere of camping in the beautiful snow
Glad you liked it❄
@@Lonewolfwildcamping 👌👍👍
Great video as always . Thanks so much for this.
Thank you for enjoying
