HOW TO HARVEST & HATCH BSF MAGGOT EGGS In this video, I, Susanto Den Bagoes Bsf Gombong, will share a little video tutorial / how to harvest BSF eggs and how to hatch black soldier fly eggs #maggotbsf, how to harvest & hatch BSF maggot eggs, I am aiming especially for my friends / beginner viewers who have never cultivated BSF maggots or for new viewers who want to learn how to process all organic waste both with the aim of helping reduce waste problems in their respective environments, as well as creating high protein alternative feed for all animals, especially all poultry farms, fisheries & helping to create organic fertilizer, both liquid and solid, for organic farming.
Namely, the cassava of all organic waste that has been eaten is broken down & mixed with BSF maggot vases, within 15 days to 18 days we harvest BSF maggot larvae & solid organic fertilizer.
How to harvest & how to hatch BSF maggot eggs. First of all, of course, we have to have a BSF fly cage/black soldier fly insectarium. Take eggis/wooden gratings once every 2 days for harvesting & hatching BSF maggot eggs. Prepare a tray, tissue, knife/gram weighing box, continue with a small box for hatching, enough waste slurry, put it in the hatching box, prepare a tissue holder containing BSF maggot eggs, you can use a coconut milk filter by turning it over, or we can make a sand sieve from ram wire & shape it. like a table, sprinkle a few handfuls of dry bran on the wall of the hatching box so that when the eggs hatch the baby maggots don't run away and spread. How to harvest & hatch BSF maggot eggs, we just have to open the rubber bound eggs one by one, we scrape them using a knife, a soft brush, slowly so they are clean.
