That’s exactly why I love movies from 2000-2010. They always have these scenes. Movie can be bad af but still has one of these great acting scenes with the perfect screenplay and music. This scene alone is a solid 9/10
Catherine Tramell in the first movie is a brilliant character, manipulating people in a very subtle way and has that aura of mystery that is very compelling to watch. Here instead, she’s playing that character like some sort of SNL sketch, exaggerating everything and for being very VERY predictable. In short, the character is ruined in this unnecessary sequel. Apparently Sharon Stone was promised $14 million payout for appearing in the sequel, but when she found out that the producers tried to cancel the film (they realized that making a followup 14 years after the original was a bad idea) she sued them and they had to retract their decision. Results: 7% on Rotten Tomatoes, barely made its budget back and winning 4 Razzie Awards
I wouldn't think 🤔 Catherine would need therapy 🤣when the David Morrisey character told Catherine to put her cigarette 🚬 out in a aggressive mood she wasnt cocky she put it out.

Oh dear. Not a patch on Basic Instinct 1. A very unconvincing and dull sequel.
She was "WAY HOTTER" in the original.
She was in her 30s she was older in the second film.
The most sensual woman
I have feelings for Sharon Stone not David Morrissey or Charlotte Rampling Sharon stone only Because she's is so hot not Charlotte Rampling.

The problem with Basic Instinct 2 is that Sharon Stone isn't hot anymore.
