This is easily in my top 3 most anticipated movies of the year. Another fun fact is Fede Alvarez also stated that the video game Alien: Isolation was also an inspiration for this movie. If you haven’t played that game, I HIGHLY recommend it
I haven't play the game, But I did watch Pewdiepie play it years ago and thought the movie was like the game in a way.
Alien: Isolation is the best Alien game made. It’s such a tense play every time you try to avoid the alien. You never know where it will show up!

hype,hype, HYYYYYPPPPEEEEE!!!!!! The reactions to this trailer are so expected for what is just a copy of the original but now with kids (Alien 90210)! Just watch the original and save yourself $15.
It looks nice. But I’m not excited for this movie. Probably because I’m not an alien fanatic (much more a fan of the predator) and to be honest, this looks one more movie the characters are in a spaceship and gotta survive, again?? The same premise, same setting again. I might check it out but not excited. The best thing I got from this video was you made a video about total recall. NICE. Great movie. And about predator, I think the next prequel will take place during WWII which I think it’s awesome !!!

@DrumDums I’ve got to say, looks like we are finally going to get an alien movie tonally that fits in line with the 2 best of the franchise Alien and Aliens in my opinion.
I had a feeling when I saw that Fede Alvarez from Evil Dead 2013 and Don’t Breathe was directing this I had a feeling we would be getting back to the claustrophobic terror of the original and to me that’s what this looks like with maybe some action sequences similar to Aliens, which would only make sense, seeing as I did see that Fede Alvarez did say this takes place between Alien and Aliens I believe which is why the tone being similar to both those movies makes sense in my book.
I haven't liked an Alien movie since Aliens, but this actually looks good!
Alien 3 is Good. better then Resurrection and Halloween Ends.

Read a brief passage on the new Predator & unlike Prey this one is supposed to take place in the future. So, Predator tec vs Future Human tec can't wait. Loving this trailer also seeing the Face Hugger's sexual organ trying to find that guys mouth was nightmare fuel.

Alien Romulus will be my first movie I see at the cinema in 4k ;-; Tho 3D would be awesome for them Facehuggers, tho I have one already at home lol. Plus Lee! watch Under The Bridge, U don't need to watch trailer, it's not horror, it is sad and a beautiful season :(

The franchise has honestly kept me pretty satisfied, aside from the human alien in Resurrection.

Fede alvarez gives me lot of hope! I think evildead remake was near perfect movie for evildead franchise, and don’t breathe is also really good. So far he didn’t let me down. Can’t wait!

Every trailer I seen I have the lowest expectations, sometimes middle expectations. Ailen Romulus is one of the trailers in my lowest expectations category of this year. For big budget and indie low budget I always keep it lowest expectations as possible.
@DrumDums I personally don’t blame the Xeno’s at all, in fact, as much as I want my own race to get out of the hell hole that is the abandoned ship full of Xeno’s I mostly blame the humans for being complete idiots to put themselves in that situation to begin with.
I mostly see the Xeno’s as animals defending their turf when we encroach on it much like a grizzly bear would defend it’s home turf if a human were to encroach on it and it felt threatened, but I don’t know that’s just how I’ve always seen the Xeno’s personally.
i was so excited to see this and then i watched this and was so disappointed. Its just a Friday the 13th movie with Aliens ..Looks well made .The problem is they are not progressing the story .We had this already .We know there are Aliens ..Aliens 2 was going in the correct direction send in the marines !!! Now the story has to move forward and this movie is a Huge step back .... Have Aliens on there way to Earth all Ready get a new great leading actor not young kids running around whats so hard about that ...
I trust Fede Alvarez to deliver a quality Alien film. He loves practical effects and he talked about his love for the franchise and it shows in this trailer. Alien Romulus could very well take the title for the goriest Alien movie in the franchise.
I think Alvarez would be a good choice for elm Street but with Englund returning

It would be great if an Aliens sequel after aliens is good and rewatchable instead of frustrating to watch with flaws that can’t be overlooked as minor issues.
Yes it’s our fault we’ve tried to weaponise them in all of the other movies, this one could just be bad luck they encountered them wait and see, but Jesus this trailer does look good

There actually is a Prey sequel coming. Same director as Prey is making Badlands first (the Predator standalone film), then he's doing Prey 2. If I'm not mistaken, I believe I saw on Bloody Disgusting that he already has cast the leading lady for Prey 2

I just think this series has no where to go. It might be Ridley’s fault too. We never took the AVP stuff seriously. The moment Scott comes back and did whatever the hell he did. It screws up the origin and the creature. Isolation is awesome but a movie that looks like Isolation is not

its crazy that over the years the stuff fox own they ruin it so now disney owns it and shown they can do a better job, like prey was the best predator movie in a long time, they shown they can still continue with the planet of the apes films and now this looks to be the best alien film since Aliens! like i get disney has screwed up star wars and some what the mcu but there is times they prove they can pull out some bangers
imo Prey is might be least favourite Predator movie. tho! Prey is a Good movie and I don't hate it any all. Just Predators and Prey didn't do anything for me, I don't get the overhype for Prey. But that's my opinion. Cos I don't think it's great doesn't mean it's not if the world loves it. Everyone is different and that is Great

Alien is one of my all time favourite franchises as well! And this is my second most anticipated film of the year! It’s apparently a cross between alien and aliens and you can tell giving me vibes of both those films!! Though the biggest vibe it’s actually giving me is the game Alien Isolation! Which apparently was one of Fede’s inspirations to make an alien film as well as just being a massive fan of the films. I’m confident this will be a banger. And won’t disappoint me like Ridley’s god awful Covenant.

For what it is, it looks really really good.
Problem is, I can't get on board with the premise... I get it, Alien has always been a slasher movie but this is too on the nose with the "kids go into the woods/abandon house" bit.
I just wish it was something more than a bunch of kids go exploring. 😕

Like literally there are plenty of times she'll stop see something and make like this stupid goofy surprised bug-eyed look
