- Coldplay performing in Olympiastadion Helsinki, Finland on the 28th of July 2024. Show #4 out of the 4 shows in Finland. Part of Music of the Spheres world tour. Coldplay's fourth concert ever in Finland. The show took place on Will Champion's birthday.
I don't own the music, I am just sharing the footage with other fans!
I noticed Coldplay removed the fireworks at the drop of Fix You for their recent concerts, not sure why :(((
(This comment does contain some spoilers for the rest of the show) Found some people online who said they have decreased the number of fireworks for the environment which I understand and respect, but during these shows in Helsinki (at least the one I went to) 2/3 fireworks were not during actual played songs and although those moments (sending love to people around the world and end credits) were beautiful, I would DEFINITELY put those 2 fireworks to Fix you and the last actual song of the show! It does sound kind of silly that fireworks matter so much because shouldn't the music be the main point and it is but in this song the drop with the fireworks is just SO ICONIC in my opinion and as someone who waited to see the band live for 8 years or so, I couldn't help feeling dissappointed at the end of this song because the moment that I waited for most to see in the show, was not what I expected and although the music was great, it didn't have quite the same impact :( And the lack of these fireworks which gave been a thing for years confuses me even more when this is the 3rd last song of the concert (not counting credits) and the last major hit so it's such an important moment for the story arc of the show!
No idea, as you said it seems like they stopped using fireworks for Fix You for some reason. I went to two shows and neither had them for this part. I was expecting them also, was surprised to see them missing. They have also removed the fireworks from Higher Power, at least in Helsinki there wasn’t any. Maybe for the environmental impact, or limited supply?
@@tomtomario6521 Yes, I went to the 30th july concert and I expected more fireworks than there were... A bit dissapointed, altohugh was an incredible concert and I will always remember the environment of Helsinki (I´m spanish)
