Nothing really different compared to my initial playthrough, other than way less mistakes, but these Mystery Labyrinths are basically the "Class Trials" of the game. So it only felt right to have individual videos up that is just these segments like what I did with the Danganronpa games. I know many who have used my Class Trial videos as guides, so this mainly serves that same purpose. My initial playthrough that is ongoing will still have the Mystery Labyrinths cut into segments, since I'm trying to keep those around a certain length for easier uploading. However, you can expect a separate video that shows off the entire thing on its own at a later point. Enjoy!
Kind of, except this is more along the lines of the one-on-one “rebuttal showdown”, when another student contradicts you. During those “battles” you use the evidence that contradicts their argument. It also reminds me of the ace attorney investigations, when Edgeworth heard out the reasoning of his opponent. Only difference is that there isn’t any way to “press” a statement, but the number of suspicious statements are clearly visible.
It’s a neat little mix of everything I’m sure lol…. Though I never seen a “palace” since I never played a persona game yet, that will change some day though I’m sure lol
Is it weird that rather than thinking about how Shinigami relates to Junko, she reminds me more of Kotoko Utsugi from Danganronpa Another Episode? The three similarities that the two share are as follows: 1. Kotoko wears a devil horns head band and Shinigami has full black horns. 2. They both have similarly pink hair, as opposed to Junko’s blonde. 3. They both have hyperactive personalities, as opposed to Junko’s “bored” personality.
Granted Shinigami is a death god, so it's her duty to reap souls. Depending on who wants her direction to be. And here, she would take the souls of found murderers which by default, killing would be sentencing to a death penalty.
Not gonna lie, but while I was making my way through this trial, I honestly thought that this was all a test to see if Yuma was worthy of being a Master Detective. Spoilers... While I was able to quickly figure out that Zilch was the one who killed the other detectives, I also began to think that there was something more to the case. After all, it was surprisingly easy for these "Master Detectives" to killed off, that I legitimately thought that the other detectives faked their deaths and then once Yuma revealed the truth, Zilch and the other detectives would show up. They would've congratulated Yuma for his deduction and welcome to the Detective Agency in Kanai Ward. If only that actually happened....
That game seems really cool, its like an alternate version of Danganronpa. Although, the Mystery Phantoms seem to remind me of the Shadow Selves from the Persona games for some reason.
If you mean from Persona 4, it’s a little different, since those shadows reflect the “true self” that had been denied. These Mystery Phantoms are more like a mix between those who deny Yuma in the real world and the Mystery Labyrinth’s attempt to obscure the truth of the case. Simply put, much like how the Minotaur is a mix of man and beast meant to patrol their labyrinth, the Mystery Phantom is an form representing a mix of Man and Mystery preventing those from reaching the truth. I hardly say that it’s an actual representation of their “true self” considering the real identity of the culprit. *Spoiler* (Since the real person the culprit was masquerading as was already dead, so their appearance was most certainly an disguise to fool Yuma and the others.)
@@jamesrobertson6591 More like Persona 5 actually, the Mystery Labyrinth's could serve as a variation of the Palaces with the true culprit serving as the ruler. Of course the person dying does show similarities to the Mental Shutdowns which are caused by the Shadow Selves getting killed by an assassin, the Mystery Phanton of Swank Catsonell could serve as the congintion of how the fake Zilch Alexander sees him as. Their relation is because Swank has hire him to take out the dectectives going to Kanai Ward via the Amaterasu Express, however it has backfire due to the death of the fake Zilch.
I just realized that Shinigami has the same voice actress as Genocide Jack. ... I guess that fits... (spoilers below) I always knew Byakuya would be a killer one of these days!

Nice to know if I ever get the chance to play this game lol, this game seems like it will have some tough moments of this first case is to go off of
You mean Class Trials with Persona 5 in the mix, lol.

Shinigami feels like Junko from Danganronpa in a few ways but more...positive? XD She's so chaotic...I love it. XD

I guess it would have been a great mock murder case exam...if they weren’t going in Kanai Ward.
You set up your tree skill first before you try the first case for the second time. Glad you did it, good job.
The animated cut-ins are so nice...
0:59 Shinigami’s crap-eating grin!
6:33 - 6:39, 14:06 - 14:12 Shinigami materializes a Solution Key by puking!

I always knew Byakuya would be a killer one of these days!
Shinigami’s va isn’t a previous danganronpa va. She is voiced by Anjali Kunapaneni.
We will find out
19:44 meanwhile in Genshin Impact
Yuma : **took out the sword in Shinigami mouth**
Raiden Shogun : **just doing musou no hitotachi**
Ironically the voice actor for shinigami is a voice actor for genshin lol
I was thinking of guilty crown
So this is just DR4
This is very interesting
