Thanks for posting full episodes. Means so much to me. I used to watch your show when I was a fresh college grad in Canada. I moved around the world since and became quite a traveler (and solo traveler) myself over the years. Fast forward 20 years I am in Australia and cannot access your show until perhaps I use VPN. So happy to be able to watch these on UA-cam. :)

Samantha Brown you're my favorite travel star. My mom had a avocado green fondue set. We ate fondue every few months. I loved it as well as my dad and sister.

Thank you for posting this wonderful series. It was especially nice to see Bern and Gestad. In my second trip to Switzerland we took the train from Montreux to Gestad. At one point, my mother asked why my wife was in tears. I hadn’t noticed because I was focused on the amazing scenery outside the window. I turned and asked her, and she said, “It’s so beautiful!” Thanks for bringing back such a nice memory.
One other thing; could you post “Great Hotels?” I loved that series, especially the Greenbrier, when you took the lessons in falconry and driving the horse-drawn carriage.

Just checked Discovery+. They have Passport to Europe, Great Weekends, and Asia, no Great Hotels. Sigh…. It must have been lost in the aether someway. I had most of them on my DVR, but that was two DVRs ago. Thanks anyway!

Seeing this video made me feel nostalgic about Bern-what a beautiful city. I really liked the city, especially the Zytglogge or the Clock Tower but never went inside. I am glad that you showed us inside. What an interesting place. Thank you.😊

Thank you for this lovely video! I'm Swiss and live near Bern. It's refreshing to see the city and region from a different perspective. The high costs of living sometimes let me forget how lucky I am to live in such a beautiful place. However, I would like to add two important pieces of additional information to the video for future tourists:
1. The Aare is a wild river and tourists drown in it every year. Only swim in it if you are a good and fit swimmer and if you are in the company of locals (just ask someone).
2. Base jumping is statistically suicide and a horror for the locals. Why? Use your imagination.

@ Thank you! I’ve never been inside the Zytglogge-Turm - what a beautiful and fascinating mechanical machinery. I love how you took the time to let the keeper explain things, show his passion and even play around a bit. ‘Stopping the time’ was a brillant idea. Especially on social media.

I remember why I loved Passport to Europe so much, but wait, hmmm, were we not here before? I distinctly remember something about "Hooters", or was that in a different episode? I must look it up.
