    Easily one of the best videos you have ever done. Everything was quick and to-the-point and flowed perfectly. How to test, what equipment to use, and where to find it everything! Thank you so much!

    This was very helpful and helped me determine that the Kicker 46KISLOC2 K-Series Stereo Line-Output Converter w/Remote Turn-On Output I installed was not able to provide a proper remote turn on output from the sub woofer output speaker wires of my factory B&O amplifier. My sub amp kept going into protection mode due to a DC Offset issue. I ended up having to run a remote turn on line from the front of the truck.

    Thank you for doing a subwoofer test finally!!!! I know it's lame. I get it. But there's something satisfying about hearing that distorted bass over my crappy computer speakers.

    If you don’t mind, where did you make your ground in the truck for the amp in the fusion?

    If using dc offset to turn the amp on, does the amp remove the dc offset from the audio signal at the output of the amp?

    I’ve tried everything, maybe? I have a base model 2003 Chevy Tahoe and my kenwood just started show the dc offset I reset it a few times redone the battery terminal and it still shows as soon as I go to turn the volume up if it decides to work dc offset comes right back on..would you know why that is ?

    What do you do for the systems that "reverb" when you shut the door, sometimes just sitting, customer closes door causing pressure on the factory speakers causing a "signal" to move the sub, which keeps the speakers moving causing a feedback?

    So I have the Sony system in my 2018 cord fusion would this be the case also for install of amp for subs. I know the car has in cabin mics for isolation and also fake engine noise. I don't want to go crazy with a install just a bit more bass.

    Normal to have 6v dc all the time? Ignition on/off makes no difference, always shows 6V so amp never switches off.

    How is it possible the factory amp do better job in amplifying the radio signal than the after market AMP ? Aren't factory amps supposed to be lower quality than after market one's?
    (since you mentioned that you don't want to max out the gain in the after market AMP)

    • @Bmr4life
      @Bmr4life Рік тому

      That's not what he is saying. He's saying the factory amps signal output was so low that he would have to max the gain on the after market amp. You never want to max the gain.

    How do you deal with a dual-mode charging system in a 2020 Honda Accord sport 1.5t. When my car is in park it charges at 14.4v but when the car goes into reverse or drive, the voltage drops to 12.7V.... this happens when there is no electrical load. When in gear and I flip on my headlights then my voltage jumps back up to 14.4v when the car has an electrical load. Any thoughts or ways to help the vehicle from not going into low output mode?

      Turn on your system, which is a load so it should stay at 14.4v !

      Honda has been doing a version of this for years. Buy amps the are stop start Compliant they will work down into the 9 volt range.

      Five Star Car Stereo Well I currently have a JL Audio RD900/5 amp already installed with a secondary battery (Stinger SPP680) with a better isolator (NVX XSBI200 which is a smart isolator that connects when the vehicle is producing over 13.2V and it shuts off when the vehicle produces less than 12.7V. Is there anyway to bypass or trick the ELD into being in high output mode? As you know, the stinger battery needs more that 12.7v of charging even at rest... a full charge on that battery is set at 12.85V or do I just have to run with my headlights on all the time to manually activate the high output?

    One guestion if anyone knows..can i use power wire for the ground of my amplifier???because my set it to short and the power wire is long,can i cut it and make it cround wire?? Thanks and sorry for my english

    • @darrylpolite8722
      @darrylpolite8722 4 роки тому +1

      If you have extra power wire left over after cutting it, you can definitely use the remainder for the grounds if you have enough of it. To make sure you don't mix up the wire since it will be the same color, you need to mark it as negative. I recommend putting black tape on it.
