Holy molly huge ho demand on pto on that straw grinder , definitely huge investment here...and proper return to . there is an organic farm here? I'm a wool pellets producer, bio fertiliser. cheers
We do it here in the UK to protect the carrots from frost over the winter. They then sit protected in the ground and are lifted plot by plot as required by the supermarkets.
What happens to the stings on the bale when it goes into the back of the machine on the tractor. Does it just get chopped up with the straw ? Or does it get taken of before ?
This is information from the guy using the machine. "2 strings left on bale then as bale hits the spiral rota it brakes the string and wraps round rota then we have to go in and cut it out about every 150 bales which takes about 10 minutes with 2 of you"
I've seen this machine in operation and it's amazing 👍
Thanks for watching

Pro Horizon mice love this?
Is there a plastic sheeting that goes over the crop and then covered with straw?
