I used to play at USA Hockey Arena when it was Compuware, I'd go to open skate, go to the restaurant there, I saw the Red Wings alumni play there and heck it's even where I graduated. Great rinks and facility.
The brand new ice complex in St. Louis called Centene Ice Area, the alumni game for the nhl all star game was played there this past year. The Blues practice there and the jr. blues also practice there and play games there. It’s a super nice facility
I’ve only been to a few cool rinks living in central NY but some of my favorites are out in Buffalo and Morrisvilles Iceplex (aside from Adirondack Bank Center)
The new facility in Vegas (Summerlin) and Nashville are great rinks but also the arena in Lake Placid with the history. I guess it all depends on what you are looking for. Been to several of the rinks listed here, and skate out of the Ice Den, terrific facility.
I like the artic ice arena in Orland lark Illinois. There are 3 rinks with a training place with a bar and restaurant with a big parking lot. It is home to the AAA Chicago Fury, AA Orland park Vikings, and the A artic junior fury
Mr Cloutman yeah I played a lot of my high school games there, other than the one corner by the zamboni doors the ice itself and the rink are fantastic
I can't believe I saw Puget Sound Hockey Center(now gone). in that opening section. What a hole, but it had the hardest ice in a region of generally soft ice conditions. Mountlake Terrace is the best in Western Washington, although the big sheet is a lot of room for an old guy to cover.
Sharks Ice!! Once the expansion is complete San Jose will have 8 sheets of ice. Not to mention that one of those rinks will seat over 4,000 people and be the new home of the AHL San Jose Barracuda.
In Manitoba. We have BellMTS Sportsplex. Located in Headingley Manitoba, 4 ice rinks and is the practice faculty for the Winnipeg Jets and Manitoba Moose. Training Center with a lounge and restaurant. Hosts a lot of AAA teams. High school teams. Skating programs. Many tourneys year around.
I've been to both arenas in Michigan they are so nice and once after playing a game at LCA we went to the game and they let us get in the arena a little early.
@@grahamvonderahe3284 ohhh ok the 14u a bears sucked last year I had multiple friends on it if it’s not to far for you try out for the bulldogs it’s in Kissimmee at the ice factory they went to semis twice in a row
Now I expected not to see my home rink but I have to represent : Sublette County Wyoming Ice Arena Simple 1-sheet rink , home of the Pinedale Glaciers....adult house leagues , many open hockey / stick & puck time slots , often for $1.00 The THING about my rink is the quality of the ice. The FASTEST ice I've ever played on. Located in cold , dry Rocky Mountain town , ideal for forming ice. The sheet here is unreal , like playing on glass. Great list here..
The Anaheim Rink has been replaced as the flagship Duck's location. The new Great Park Ice & FivePoint Arena has 4 rinks and full training facility for the Anaheim Ducks.
I came here to say this. The original rink is still great, but Great Park is on another level and probably deserves to be here. I've skated in the Jr. Flyers in Vorhees a bunch growing up, and it's a great facility - but Great Park has it beat.
The lemuix ice center I played there it was unreal but when we played the locker room were off limits Because of covid so I kinda wish the locker rooms were open besides that it was fantastic
The RecPlex in Pleasant Prairie, WI is the place to be. The facility is unreal but only hosts a travel club because of its location. I've seen CYA buy ice there before but only as a neutral site.
The Anaheiim Ducks Rinks just got a new facility that is awesome, it has a full restaurant, snack bar, four rinks, pro shop, and home to many high school and Jr. Ducks Teams. It cost something like $102 million dollars, it is brand new
The thumbnail is actually a nice rink played there a few times has 3 rinks and Nashville predators practice there. Also a pro shop and second floor viewing area with a bar and con sessions
@Richard Varriano yeah my brother plays for Henry sibley warriors and I just remember its really big. I like how every city in Minnesota has a rink if not 2. Compared to other states who only have like 7 rinks altogether
I'm thankful just to be able to play adult league at Lemieux UPMC. Amazing place to play Also RMU sports island complex was elite until the Pittsburgh Hornets got bought out and turned into the Pens elite.
This was a super cool list and all these rinks look so cool. Also what about 5point arena in Irvine, California it’s brand new, has 4 sheets of ice, and cost 88 million dollars.
Growing up I loved playing at the fraser hockeyland. Kinda surprised it’s not on this list, I believe it has 5 rinks. Home of 3 local high school teams and the USPHL Metro Jets.
Fraser is a classic rink, but it's kind of a dump lol. Thought Troy Sports Center would be on the list considering how many big tournaments it hosts every year.
GoIrish ! It might be lol, but I thought it was amazing going to the shawn burr hockey camps (RIP) and playing in the Superior rink with 3,400 seats. But yes Troy Sport Center is nicer
You gotta have Community First Champion Center, Appleton, Wisconsin, it was built in 2019, along with two rinks it has a restaurant, a bar, and a concession stand, and the arena is sponsored by Coca-Cola. It has a bunch of basketball courts, and volleyball courts. I play there with the Green Bay jr gamblers.
Yeah Virtua is not really even the main team at Flyers Skate Zone Vorhees. There is also a team called the Flyers Youth not to be confused with the Philadelphia Jr Flyers.
My biggest complaint about the Lemieux Complex is there are only 2 showers for each locker room. It can take forever to get your whole team showered and then the workers come in an bug you to hurry up.
I played in New Jersey and hollydell ice arena is 100xs better than skate zone vorhees. It has 3 rinks, an NHL size rink, Olympic size rink, and a 3v3 size rink. It has a decent pro shop, a brand new gym which is beautiful, and to top it off a sports bar right in the middle to oversee both rinks and the sports bar is amazing. If there was one thing I would change it would be that. Also I’m a flyers fan you won’t catch me in a penguins facility ever haha 😂
What about center ice in Florida. It’s by far the nicest and most taken care of arena in Florida and it has 4 rinks and a mini rink with a training area and restaurant
New England sports center is fun and a great experience... until your team is assigned locker room 36 and have to walk 10 miles
Your fat cousin 1 very relatable
Your right
For that matter even finding your locker room is a pain in the ass
When my son skated at the New England Sports Center when he was in youth hockey and high school there were only 4 rinks there.
I will never forget that tourney
UPMC hands down. is unreal..Harbor Center Buffalo should have been on the list IMO
UPMC deserves number 1
Harbor center is pretty nice
As a Buffalo native I love this comment.
Great park ice in Irvine, CA. Brand new, state of the art facility with 4 sheets
i was suprised great park and or TSC wasnt above the rinks
Absolutely insane!!!!!!!!
@Christopher Palmer California hockey is some of the best in the country...
@Christopher Palmer more teams made nattys from cali, than ny, mass, and minny combined but thats ok
@Christopher Palmer im not saying the best are? im saying youth?
I used to play at USA Hockey Arena when it was Compuware, I'd go to open skate, go to the restaurant there, I saw the Red Wings alumni play there and heck it's even where I graduated. Great rinks and facility.
I like how it shows the Antioch rink in Nashville on the thumbnail, but doesn’t even have it in the video
Check out centene Ice rink. Stl blues new practice rink. 4 rinks including one with 2,500 bowl seating and an outdoor rink.
Harbor Center in buffalo? It’s amazing
The brand new ice complex in St. Louis called Centene Ice Area, the alumni game for the nhl all star game was played there this past year. The Blues practice there and the jr. blues also practice there and play games there. It’s a super nice facility
Wow! I have personally played at 6 of these rinks. Travel hockey really takes you everywhere. :)
What level

Super rink is super good I actually play for Blaine and I play their alot
I play for Jr Sabres and the Harbor Center should be in this list
I’ve played in Marlborough, it truly is wonderful!
I played in the meat locker, that was the best rink I’ve ever been to. Learned to play there and I miss it so much❤️
Shoutout Ford ice center. Where’s my nashville people at 😂

Trey Dill

Fogging ice center. Home of the Miami redhawks and the junior team. Includes two arenas, an amazing pro shop, and soooo much space.
Advent health center ice in Florida should be an honorable mention it has the most sheets of ice south of New York

You need to check out our new rink Great Park Ice! Brand new beautiful 4 sheet facility in Irvine, CA!
I’m from Phx and I love skating at ice den, a bit expensive for ice as pickup is about 20 bucks but it’s good ice and competition
VOORHEESS SKATE ZONE LOL I grew up playing there love that place 17 yrs old and just love that place so much it’s my home
You can sometimes see players like Thornton and Marlaeu and their kids on the ice in the summer in San Jose I saw them last summer
St.james hands down. Huge facility with great ice. I’m Washington DC
That only has 2 rinks tho. The seating is limited. But there is a lot of other stuff and it is super nice
